By the way..i can't seem to find the first post 'bout your new babydude...but congrats!

Thanks. I'll give you the run down. Monday we got a call about taking care of a 3 week old baby just released from the hospital. Currently fostering hoping to adopt. His nn is Dobie and we're hoping to name him Andrew John. Andrew is my dad's mn & John is dh's & fil's name. Dobie has straight dark brown hair & dark blue eyes that look like they will go brown. He's currently 6 lbs. Very good baby. Makes lots of noise though, dh says he sounds like someone in a rocking chair when he's "talking while he's eating".

It's weird to me - by the second show he'd lost the about 15 lbs he wanted to lose - and wanted to start "getting his 6-pack back". I think they always put one kind of slim dude to piss the others off!!

I just got back from my meet the teacher night, and I didnt even meet my teacher.. LOL. i got into a new school, and im really excited.ok.kind of excited, ok, I'm dreading it. and what really hurt me, theres this clique, and im there number one target. The oldest, walks down the hall and passes us, I smile, but my dad hears her mumble to the rest of her friends..thats jessie. They are going to make my middle and high school years MISERABLE!

HOpe all works out !! I know it is hard but try to ignore them!!!

I'm am sleepy today my Limey PEEPS! Dobie was measured today at WIC, he's 7 lbs & 19" long!

I have to add this most amazing thing. Today for some reason everywhere I look atleast 1 to maybe even 2 people out of 10 are wearing lime today. I mean was there a memo & I didn't see it?!?!? Of course everyday is a lime day for me! I feel like asking them to they belong to the DIS, but I haven't seen a lgmh yet so I'm thinking .

Not to be a pain in the

but I wanted to mention that all my pre-packing and pre-planning paid off. Not only did I have everything mostly done when I broke my toe (so I could rest it) but we did not forget a SINGLE thing. Not ONE! I don't think I can say that about any previous vacation. Heh. It was great. Don't wait till the last minute! Too much stress involved in that! Start packing now!

I would love to! But the kids are still wearing their clothes to day camp, I just found out some friends got together and are planning a pamper kathy makeover Thursday night. That is exciting but I wish they would wait until I got back. But they want to get me some summer clothes. They know everyone else comes before mom and I wear what is available

I'll probably get home around 8:30. Course I have started each day this week working at 5am or a bit earliir. And we leave Sat at 6 for the airport. That's AM. *sigh* Good advice, gotta fit it in. Oh and I was working Mon & Tues night until 7:30, so not much time to do much after that but snuggle kids to bed!

But I will get it done. Mayb enot neatly, but done it will be!

You can do it Kathy!!!!! I know its a lot - but think how happy you will be once you get there! (I hope the pamper Kathy night is fun, even though it IS bad timing try to relax and enjoy!) As much as I've procrastinated I HAVE been doing a Cyn by placing things, as I see them, in a bag in my closet. Or, as I folded freshly washed clothes, put things we'd need (but didnt need before this weekend..) in another pile. So, though my many piles (to match my many lists...) are scattered all over (not a pretty picture by the stairs...sorry Cyn...) they do exist. (I just fussed at DH over the phone not to move any of said piles!) So, once I do a sweep - and cross reference to DisUnc's great list (did you get the DisUnc list? Do, if you dont have one, its good!) - we will be almost ready!!!

A bit each night for the next 3 nights and you'll be good to go - yeah!!!!!!!!!!

I just thought I would let y'all know that I have officially accepted my DIS addiction and snatched some LGMHs from Home Depot today. To top it off, a paint rep asked if there is anything he could help me with, and I just flashed the card at him and asked, "Do you have any spray paint in this color?" He looked at me like I had lost my mind and said, "The spray paint is on the next aisle, but I don't think we have any in that exact color." He then commenced to guiding me to the sray paint aisle where I found a Lime Green Sray Paint for indoor or outdoor that matched almost perfectly! I got so excited I said thank you, picked up the can, and immediately went to pick up another small stack of cards. I think I ended up with a little over 10.) (Just my guess.) I did leave some for the next DISer on Panama City Beach, Florida, if there is one.


Now y'all are asking me, "What was she wanting the lime green sray paint for?"


Well, I picked up a Minnie Mouse Ears headband at a yard sale and I got the brilliant idea of spray painting those ears lime green and wearing them while I am there 11/27/06-12/3/06 so you guys can find me....
