Yuppers John and I went for my last doc appointment and I have been sitting here trying to read board to get my mind offa the whole situation but that is hard to do.

I had to answer that dreaded question "are you safe' And I then just looked out the window passed her shoulder and shrugged.

Just the smallest of small comments.

Ummm duh~~

if she has to ask...? I know, I knw, they always do, but are you the one who can answer that clearly. I mean I watch hubby , all 6'1 and pooh size dculred in a ball almost and they ask is he ok. You just want to ask when there eyes were checked last. But I also know that you and him have to be the one to answer, cause only ya'll know what is going on inside of you. Know i love you and have been praying for you and John. He is me in your partnership!

Thanks so much. I think of you ALL the time whenever I am giving poor John a really rough time. I mean I know he understands how I feel but it is crappy for him to come home and care for a 44 year old "baby" Thanks again and good luck with your planning -- I know that is hard on my system and I can't take John this time. Let us know how it all goes for you & your family!

Not to be a pain in the

but I wanted to mention that all my pre-packing and pre-planning paid off. Not only did I have everything mostly done when I broke my toe (so I could rest it) but we did not forget a SINGLE thing. Not ONE! I don't think I can say that about any previous vacation. Heh. It was great. Don't wait till the last minute! Too much stress involved in that! Start packing now!

okay this is for the ladies here...because fellas, you just won't understand... (well, maybe, but i doubt it)


so i went back-to-school clothes shopping today. i seem to have been blessed with this fabolous things called hips (thanks mom!) that are just Slightly disportional to my waist. add on the fact that i'm short and you have a disaster in finding pants that fit.

have i lost all the guys yet?

in kohls today i managed to find not one...but 3 different pairs of pants that fit me...correctly! HOW OFTEN DOES THAT HAPPEN? oh, just about never! (seriously, i was down to 2 pairs of jeans.)

that means i've found 4 pairs of pants in the last 2 weeks that fit.

it's a beautiful thing. i just had to share.

now i'm sure i've lost all the guys!

I read recently that the average woman will try on aproximately 50 pairs of jeans before she find one pair that fit correctly. I think that's pretty accurate for me.

So, did you try on 150 pairs?

I didn't pack early.. only the day before. But, I did have a list that I started early. I printed several out and put one in my purse, one by the puter and one in the kitchen, for any time I had a thought of what I might need. I kept it updated.... and I was sure to check it often. I checked off everything I purchased, then when I packed I had an unchecked copy, and checked it off as I packed.
That way things that we needed until the last day wouldn't be forgotten either.

I also didn't forget anything this year... and it was a first to us too!

Hey, thanks! I got the Tinkerbelle graphic from the "Creative Community" board and then added DDs name over it in MS Word. I had transfer paper from 7 years ago when I made DS's "Big Brother" shirt when DD was born (guess it lasts forever) and it turned out pretty well!

Of course my clothes were classics. My DDs wear my IZODs every once in awhile. NSalz'z clothes, have however, been relegated to thrift shops for those looking for Halloween costumes.

I just got back from my meet the teacher night, and I didnt even meet my teacher.. LOL. i got into a new school, and im really excited.ok.kind of excited, ok, I'm dreading it. and what really hurt me, theres this clique, and im there number one target. The oldest, walks down the hall and passes us, I smile, but my dad hears her mumble to the rest of her friends..thats jessie. They are going to make my middle and high school years MISERABLE!

I have big Limey news to share with you all. Well its not really Lime news--anyway!

There's a new man in my life. His nn is Dobie. He's 3 weeks old, just got released from the hospital yesterday! Hoping we can keep him & change his name to Andrew John. He's absolutely gorgeous. He's 6lbs, has straight dark brown hair & dark blue eyes that look like they might go brown. Everyone loves him, especially Stinkerbelle. Right now we're fostering him until hopefully we can adopt---so pray for us!!! It was a nice surprise for us yesterday!

Hey everybody! My Magical Express Tickets and Luggage tags came in the mail today!!! We are set for our trip.

We'll be going to MNSSHP for the first time. I hear even the adults get trick ot treat bags. Would I look silly if I trick or treat.(No wise guy replies to that!) I really want to trick or treat. I haven't done that in 30 years! Maybe I could borrow NSalz's new shoes!
