Well, I just caught up because I haven't been on in a couple of days. I'm ready for a Bailey's and decaf right now. I had back to school night this week, got to meet all of my little kinder students' parents, including one that has the Marilyn Manson eye, if you kwim
It's very hard to know where to look with him.
Had a funny if disgusting run-in with the gingerbread man this week. My teaching partner made one for each of our classes, and he "ran away" and we had to search for him around the school. The morning class found him, brought him back to the room, and everybody got a piece to eat. I didn't eat one then, but snitched a piece in the afternoon. My partner told me later that while I was out of the room, one of her kids had sneezed all over it. Gosh, I wish I'd known that sooner! Now I'm feeling sneezy, and wondering if that's where it came from. Bleccchhh!
12 hour days and I come home exhausted, but I'm enjoying TRs. Hurray for Mr. Oakie, Teresa and DisUnc all adding days. Sorry I'll miss the big out-of-state meet at DL (if you ladies are actually going 1/25) but I'm working on DH for the week after NYE. It'll have to be a bargain trip as recent car repairs have run about $2000. As my mom and I were laughing tonight, it would be nice if the mechanic gave you a kiss when he's gonna do that to you (and yes, PD, SBM, & VA-Bear, I'm talkin' nasty!).
As you might notice, I have no tags either. I guess I need to quit lurking and start posting more often.
DS starts college next Friday, so tomorrow is our big shopping day to set him up for all that he needs. Does anybody have a flying $$$ smilie?
