The thing with me is I don't actually GO outside of my city. I don't even GO outside of my own home.

Because it would be such a shame for kids to take a few days off for DISNEY!! My teachers FLIP, when I leave... And honestly, I'm a straight "A" student, and I'm in all honors, I think I can afford to miss a few freaking days of school!! Its not like im failing and being taken out for a week..

Ya know what, I'm not one of those parents. My parents NEVER took me out of school. I don't take my kids out if I can help it, but we've taken a long weekend here or there. Surprisingly my ds didn't miss any school last year & dd1 only missed a day being sick. Overall they might miss 2-3 days a year--illnesses included. Actually I would do more, but ds needs to be in school. He does well. Dd1 is a natural, she gets straight A/A+'s. I probably won't ever due a full week though-- just long weekends.

Let me tell you what, they're after I paid all that money out. Also they technically don't get out of school until that Thursday.
