I should be like Nsalz, getting ready for church, but I woke up this morning with a terrible head cold. Normally, not so big a deal, but I teach, and my first day back is tomorrow!!
I totally felt that justified sleeping in and generally vegging for the day!

OK, I've already made two runs to HD... once last Sunday (swiped 9 Mickeys), and once this Thursday while I was working (swiped about 27). We've got a HD about 2 miles from us. Thinking about making a run past there this afternoon. My wife thinks I'm insane.

Well, if we go back in August, we get out of school before Memorial Day. It may be horrible to go back in August, but I'd rather do that than have to be in school in June!!!
It also helps to know that we get a week long Fall Break in October, 2 1/2 weeks at Christmas, a week long Spring Break in March, and then Good Friday/Easter Monday.

Others may disagree, but I find that I really like this schedule. There are enough breaks that the kids and teachers don't end up killing each other and there's just enough summer break that the kids don't lose too much of what we worked so hard to put into their brains the year before!

Where is it you teach? Down here they start school in August and get out right about the same time but we don't have the same holidays as you (only 3 days for Thanksgiving, 2 weeks for Christmas, 3 days for Mardi Gras, 1 week for Spring Break which is always at Easter.
