Disney characters will become part of a limited edition of Crocs Inc. shoes, just in time for the 2006 holiday season.

Niwot, Colo.-based Crocs (NASDAQ: CROX) announced Tuesday that the "Disney by Crocs" line will debut with Mickey Mouse die-cut Adult Beach and Kid's Cayman models. They'll be available in dual colors, including Mickey Mouse's signature black and red.


Other designs will include Mickey and Friends, Winnie the Pooh and Friends, Disney Princess, Disney Fairies, Pirates of the Caribbean, Toy Story and Cars.

An expanded product line is planned for spring 2007. Terms of the agreement with Burbank's Disney (NYSE: DIS) were not available.

Exciting news! Crocs are by far the most cofmy shoes for WDW. Just got back from a week long visit and gave up the flip flops for crocs after day one. Can't wait to see these Disney ones!

Any word on the little things that stick in the holes? Jibbitz, I think? They could make a zillion bucks if they joined forces with Disney and marketed little Mickey and friends for your already owned non-Disney crocs!

I am a little disappointed that I didn't see any LGMH's while in the World a few weeks ago. We carried lime green backpack/coolers and never heard a word from anyone. Maybe next time!

I am now having to replan our trip for 2007. We are trying to do a family gathering and my sis informed me that the original week we were planning for isn't good after all. So we moved it up a bit to May and guess what. The prices were a little lower (not much but every bit helps) The only problem now is Dad may not be able to go due to work. I told his wife that at this point since he was already hinting that they might not be able to go I am only concerned about Dh, Dsd, Myself, My sis and her family, and Dh's sis and her family (if she can afford it that is). If it turns out just to be the three of us and my sisters family that is fine with me. I would rather go when my sis can go than at a different time with out her.

Look in the earlier postings and there is a website with a coupon code that can get you a pair for around $20. Check on pages 1 through 10 and I think it is there.

As far as the price/value ratio, even at $30 a pair, you are getting a shoe that is comfortable, good for your feet, antimicrobial and dishwasher safe! Yes, dishwasher! The best way to clean your crocs is to throw them in the dishwasher on the top rack. This is really good if you have the setting for antibacterial wash--super hot water I think.

Anyway, you will not be disappointed in your purchase!

I bought a pair of "mock" crocs from Goodie's clothing store (do you have this store where you live?) on sale for 2 pr for 14.99. Got DS8 and DS6 each a pair, my "odd ball pair" was still on sale for $7.99. They look EXACTLY like crocs except the button doesn't have a gator on it, and of course, it doesn't say "Crocs" on the band. The holes are the same, the details..all same. and best for me, they come in sizes...like size 6, size 7, size 8.. i tried on the crocs and their "two size to a pair" sizing didn't work for me...a 5/6 was too small, a 7/8 was too big. Also, the color of the lime green fakes was "limier" to me... I have also seen them at Walgreens drug stores here(they carry a lot of beach stuff since they are so close to the beach, so maybe just here?) for $7.99. They looked just like the originals, too.

But I gotta have those Disney ones...even at 29.99 or whatever they are...

The funny thing is, I can't answer your question about the comfort. They feel great just walking around the house in them..but I haven't had the nerve to wear them away from the house...I love my Birkenstocks, which is what I wear to WDW, I don't know if the crocs would be more comfy all day long...

How did you make out with your toe & how's it doing now?

The toe was more walkable after the first evening at AK, but I went through a WHOLE 50ct bottle of Advil while I was there. Taped the toe every day, tried to rest it in the afternoons. It got really swollen on the airplane, though, both times. It's just starting to feel better from yesterday. It's going to take awhile to heal, as it is well and truly broken. Tell you what, I sure would like to experience WDW without that particular problem and am looking forward to the next trip (hopefully) uninjured. It was a bit limiting, but I tried not to let it keep me down. I did walk a LOT on this vacation, and probably almost as much as I would have if not for the toe.

I'm outta here for awhile. I can not stay awake head keeps snapping up once i realize I have dozed off. I am not sleeping well -- ie bed at midnight (same as usualf after news and a bit of Johnny) but then I have been waking up around 3 or 4 am.

This is not good for someone like me. Less sleep leads to a manic swing Hubby loves it but I know it means a crash will follow, so I am gonna try to nip it in the bud by forcing a nap on myself. Btw electric shock therapy not fun.

I am ready to go, girl!! I miss OKW so much right now, my heart hurts. It's good to be home with all my own stuff, but I loved Orlando and WDW so much, I now know what everyone means when they talk about how homesick they get for it. We're in the living room watching our vacation videos. Right now it's Lights, Motors, Action! DH and DS are so into it they hardly know I'm here.
