But who's counting? Lab report back from the CDC today and it's official. Drum roll please. Tularemia (rabbit fever). So the kitten has been aquitted here. Fortunately that is the disease that he started medicine for on Friday so hopefully we are cooking with gas (not charcoal) now. His energy level seems to be improving slightly although he still gets fatigued really easily.

I can't wait to hear his reaction to seeing it on the news and in the papers tomorrow. Thank heavens his name won't be listed.

So 27 days later, 7 antibiotics, umpteen hours of missed work, play, soccer, hockey, baseball, many dollars spent prepaying for these activities but at least my son something that is treatable and we are treating it so the risk of it being fatal at this point are greatly reduced.

I ordered a Passporter today. It should be here in the next week. I also was trying to order some new crocs but I have been having trouble with my internet being slow ( we have DSL so it shouldn't be slow). Hopefully by the time I go to bed tonight I will be able to get them ordered. Dh had a dr's appointment today with the podiatrist. He had an ingrown toenail that needed to be taken care of. Now he is sitting on the couch with his foot propped up. He had asked me a while ago to help change the bandage silly man he should know by now that I don't like dealing with that kind of thing . I couldn't even stand to watch him donate blood Atleast it is something he can do himself.

Oh well back to trying to order those shoes

I love my passporter although I haven't put it in action yet.

Hey all! Pretty new to this thread-never posted. I had to run some errands today and oh my,I had to go right by Home Depot,sooooo...I couldn't fight the urge,had to go in and get some paint chips. Well,i was pretty disappointed when i got to the paint section.only 1 left...of course i took it..all the while thinking to myself "mine,all mine."..now i'll just have to go back in a week to see if they have stocked.
