I have a lime green hair person in storage, but I just love keira too much!

I'm starting to think we shoulD ALL have avitars w/ lime green hair!!! That would be da bomb (sorry, it was that or "that would be a HOOT" and boy, does that sound OLD!!)

Imagine how funny/cool Jessie flashy thing would be with all of us all green haired up!!! (I'd need a LOT of help to figure out how to actually DO that - CYN and Jessie could help - our local photoshop and computer whizs, respecitvely.

English, math and French are probably my best. For science it depends on what I'm learning. And for Global, it depends on the teacher. I'm one of those kids who loves when the teacher says "Here's some worksheets, you have all period to do them," because if it's simple, I get most of the period to read. Do you have to take a language?

I agrre completely with the teacher and the worksheet! I love teachers like that!! And the ones that give you class time to do homework! And I have no clue, I"m new to the school, and will get my schedule, the 22nd of August I believe, i"ll let you knoe then!

But half the things we learn, I will never use again in my LIFE! Please tell me when the next time I will use the fact that I know about the Aztecs, or that x= 26... I'm going to be a chef..PLEASE dont ask..im a dork..and i know volume and measuerments, thats all I'll need.. I appreciate all teachers and all, but I wish we could learn more useful things..

Trust me you will find times that at least some of what you are learning now will come in handy in the real world. I myself am terrible at math (never could understand algebra) but I took other classes that have helped me since like art and history as well as science. Some things have even helped me in understanding of all things movies that I have seen like POC and the DaVinci Code (references made in the movies that I understood because of what I learned in school). Once you get to High School you should be able to start taking some electives that you choose and will enjoy (like cooking). Plus to get a college degree (even in cooking) you will need the basics like math, history and english. Just do your best and enjoy the classes that you find interest in.

HA I failed it not once but twice ) If you like French you should try Italian if you are able to. It is one of the easiest languages to learn and it is the root language to both French and Spanish.

The story behind Davy Jones locker and the lives that pirates led. Learning about them in history class helped me understand alot more about the movie than if I had never heard of some of the places they used (like Tortuga) and some of the things they did like the pirate code.

that's it, all I know lol. DS's leaning toward taking German. I took 5 years of Spanish & remember very little (of it or HS in general - dazed & confused I guess). Perchance too many eons have passed. LOL

His other choice is Latin.

IMO, kiera needs to eat a few turkey legs & wash them down w/some Dole Whips - dangerously skinny lately.

Thought our school district was the only one that skipped middle school...elementary directly to 6 years of high school, do not pass go, do not collect $200, stay away from the dopers. Was on local advisory board that was choose "what way" the district went in the future. This was one of my biggest wishes...after the HVAC update but, they're keeping the status quo. IMO, dumping 7th graders in with seniors (who these days commonly are 18 to 20 years old) is just plain stoopid.
Don't worry about the "populars", they seem to be the ones working min. wage jobs @ the HS reunions. I got along w/everyone but, didn't consider myself a member of any clique. Of course, it's a lot tougher out there now.

Cynd - ER always instructed me to take 4 motrin (800 mg.), puts me right out. Let's compare war stories...did they have to use a tow (toe) truck - har, har. I can't tell you how many times I've heard that one...even from Ortho Surgeon. . You got a great rate on rental!!!! Did you use EA & codes/coupons (they will let you combine rates & coupons). We usually switch back & forth between Alamo & National. Anything to skip the terminal's desk is imperative Cannot believe you have CM access to pins - lucky duck!
