Okay...I just have to ask...how is it that you people are brave enough to actually look in the cabinet?! Every time I go, the HD CMs are all standing here, watching my every move....
I obviously need a new strategy...any suggestions???

~Kimber

Kimber bring kids with you with brightly colored clothes and send them to the paint scanning machine. Let me tell you that diverts the attention off of the mickeys and right onto those kids. Decoys are the secret. I also once had my oldest talking to the hd associate about how Lowes had a better building project that week. They got into quite a conversation.

You're amazing. I have the WDW tickets in my wallet, my ressie's printed out and stuck in my AAA book, and a bottle of bug repellant sitting by my empty suitcase. That's it. Apparently, we're going to a clothing-optional park, because nobody in our household has gotten anything out yet for the trip.

Maybe someone is too busy posting on the Disboards too do any :laundy: :rolleyes1

ps BUG REPELLANT IN WDW?????????? That one problem I never encounted!

Okay, but correct me if I'm wrong, Happy days was the 70's version of That 70's Show, to whicj I am addicted

No! The 70's show is the 90's/00's version of what people think the 70's were like!
Happy Day's was the 70's version of what people thought the 50's were like!

However being only 19! I have just heard stories about the 50's & the 70's! Thats why I like the POP so much....it's a educational experience for us youngins! :thumbsup2

School house rock was the best. How many 8 y/o's today know how a bill becomes a law.

I know I mentioned before but I was a little house and waltons fanatic. The best 70's shows. Also like fantasy island (De plane, De plane boss). And I loved Magnum PI. (Tom Selleck is still a hunk but was a hunk of all hunks then.) Even better than Scott Baio (spelling?) and Lief Garrett.

My third grade students from this past year didn't learn about the bill from Capitol Hill, but they did meet Lolly and his adverbs and naughty number nine.

Funny the examples you mentioned. I went to UCLA and met Herve Villachaise(sp?) from Fantasy Island at a party, my DH almost hit Tom Selleck coming out of a parking place, Leif Garrett came in to pay a parking ticket when I was working at the Santa Monica courthouse (I don't remember ever quitting that job, I think I just forgot to show up after a while :confused3 ), and one of my best friends and her sister ran into Scott Baio at breakfast when she had told her mom she was going to Mass, so she couldn't brag for fear of getting caught. Oh, it was a great time and place for a starstruck girl like me. :earseek:

Hi everyone. Nightly update

Sick log Day 13.

Fever this morning but managed through most of the day until about 8:30pm before he spike back up to 102.8. This was without any ibuprofen taken recently. Before he had been getting that warm with ibuprofen on board. So I think that is progress.

He had a little more energy today and went on a little mini trip to the zoo with his grandmother to sit and look at the animals. Not too much walking but he was upright for about 3 hours. Another step in the right direction.

Little bit more appetite today and a little more like his spunky self today. He is spending the night at his grandparents so that we can get some sleep. Tonight hopefully the fever will stay away and in the morning then I will feel much better about the direction we are headed.

Thanks for all the pixie dust and well wishes keep it coming I think it's starting to work. Fingers crossed here.

Funny thing about the lgmhpcs and the dates on the back. I would be curious to see who has the oldest samples. Mine is 4/05

While cody was at grandparents tonight took little guy to hockey. It was a nice diversion for us both and our source of lots of support so it was nice to get out of the house for a change. Wasn't too bad to be sitting in an ice rink either. Well good night everyone.

Disunc in case I don't get back on the boards much have a great time.

I'm glad this makes you proud!!!! :goodvibes It makes me scared!!! I can remember VOLUMES of useless 70's tv - but cant remember if I bought dish detergent at the store tonight!! (And, ofcourse, that's what I went for...) :confused3 Isn't this an early sign of alzhimers?

Ok YOURE ON!

How many Walton children were there?

What city did the Bob Newhart show take place?

What was Laverne & Shirley's Landlords name.....and who did she marry on the show?

"Come and Knock on my door"...are the first words in the theme song to what sitcom?

Ted & Georgette had a baby girl on the MTM show....what was the babies name?

What NYC Borough did the Bunkers reside in?

Name the characters that Carol Burnett, Harvey Korman & Vicki Lawrence played during "The Family" sketches on the Carol Burnett Show.

BONUS QUESTION!!!!!

What was Rhodas Morgensterns Middle name.....(hint: It was the same middle name as Brenda Morgensterns)????

Great minds think a like. Have you seen a recent picture of Leif Garrett? (He's pretty disgusting now) They should make him part of the anti drug campaign. Before and after photo would scare you straight. Playing where are they now is always kind of entertaining for me. If people magazine put together an issue of all the icons of the 70's where are they now I would cough up some dough for it. I love people but never can seem to justify buying it weekly but definately read it at any doc office usually from cover to cover in about 10 mins. (I guess that's why I can't bring myself to buy it)

You know I've been meaning to ask you all something. I was looking at the back of my lgmhs and I noticed a month & year on all mine. Some had April 2005(I think) and others had January 2006. Does this mean that the paint chips only get made once a year?!?!!?! What happens if Anc96 gets all of our lgmhs? Will we have to wait a whole year for them to restock? :guilty:

:thumbsup2 Good catch! Mine all say 04/05 or 01/06!

But what does this mean?????????????????? :confused3
