I was so excited. My husband doesn't know it but I also bought my DD a couple new outfits. Too cheap to pass up. Lots of LG. I told him I didn't want a daughter.

Had a reallllllly busy day.

Was getting ready for work when dh started screaming for me. Apparently he was coming out of ds' room -- he was coming one way & his right baby toe decided to go the other.

Long story short. Ended up at the ER, he had to get stiches & his toe popped back into place.

OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO (fill in what you think DisUnc would say) !

How is he now??????????????????

Ok, so now I have completely stopped feeling sorry for myself about stubbing my toe on a shopping cart today! Poor dh. I hope he feels better soon. I broke my big toe last October and it STILL bothers me from time to time, so I know such things can be bothersome long after the initial pain diminishes.

I broke everyone of my toes at least once! IT STILL HURTS!

We are headed back to dr tomorrow if not er tonight. Ds took turn back today. fever worsening again and symptoms returning. I'm hoping that he just needs an antibiotic change and not iv antibiotics. Poor baby has never been so sick. Sorry to keep posting updates just so worried.

Hey i'm the first one on this morning and I'm a westerner. That never happens. Good morning everyone.

Well we didn't have to go to the er last night thankfully but off to the doc this morning.

Great news flash we didn't get any rain last night. First night since end of june. Yeah. Temp is supposed to be 104 today so I'll be wishing for rain soon again.

I feel bad for your husband but I really really feel bad for you. Now that the world came to an end. I know how my husband is (Worse than the kids) when he is sick or hurts himself. Don't worry we will get you through it.

Thank you. I agree man can be babies. He did hurt himself quite badly, but once we came home from the hospital he felt much better. He's moving around on his own quite nicely. I trained him well!

Thanks, yeah he's feeling better today. Sorry about your toe, that hurts! I hear you about on going hurts. He had knee surgery years ago & of course it hurts right before it rains. We call it the "weather knee".

3v3 not looking good for second weekend in a row. Bummer for him. He'll be heart broken if he can't go.

VA bear, you can ask to be the flag family for any of the days you'll be staying @ WL. Good luck on room request. We stay down the other end in villas. So far we've always gotten a view of the lake (i.e. if you squint hard enough you can see the electric light parade as it passes LOL). Still, it's lovely IMO! We always look forward to the relaxing atmosphere @ the end of the day. I could sit in the lobby forever. If you have a chance, stop down to the Villa lobby (miniature version of main one, with Walt's trains on display ). Only downside is Roaring Forks...how they can mess up a food court is beyond me? Haven't eaten there since it's been rennovated, hope service & food quality has improved. IMO the AS's have the best food courts by a mile. Wasn't impressed w/Pop's.

Dis Unc - I feel your pain! I broke my big toe (had to have stitches - owie!)...also managed to dislocate my "pinkie" toe...hope I never have to have a bone popped back in place again - talk about painful.

I'm so glad to hear your husband is doing better. Toes can be tricky. There really isn't anything they can do for you. I fell down the basement stairs about 3 weeks ago now and The laundry basket I was carring came hard down inbetween my two little toes and I must of tore something because it is still bruised and hurts bad. Oh well mom's don't get time to rest. You know that.

Actually this is the 2nd toe my dh broke. He broke the big toe on the same foot several years earlier. He got made at me & kicked a solid oak table-- duh. Then had the nerve to ask me to take him to the hospital--- that was a fun drive!
