It is snowing here and I am on my way over to the puzzle palace for a meeting.... Here's hoping that I can get home this evening

VA, my kids are in their second snow day today, they were out yesterday too. I came in to work yesterday @ noon, had to wait till the plows got to the county road that intersects my road (they didn't get to my road yet) so I could get out in 4WD yesterday. Today I came in to work for the full day.

I was going to go into work - the roads really didnt seem bad - but was worried Id get stuck there, as they thought it would get worse later. (Now, it looks ok though....)

Mary, we really didnt get much snow - some ice - but we go NUTS over that here!!

It's not supposed to do anything here until after rush hour. They are saying anywhere from 3-15 inches. I vote for 3.

We got nothing I was hoping for a snow day so I'd have one less day of make up work to do.

We got about 9 inches here, but it had finished snowing by the wee hours of the morning. However, it is windy today and temps not expected to get over 10 with windchills around -5 for the high of the day. Yuck! I REALLY hate winter.

It just started here. We are supposed to get 7 to 12 inches of snow.

No snow here. A balmy 47 degrees right now. Just cold, windy rain today. And people who drive like idiots because they don't know how to deal with rain.

well they said we got 2-4 inches here but just looking out my window I would say we are between 3 and 4 inches....

We got 5 inches. It's heavy snow. The kids were out playing earlier, but got cold much faster than the other day when it was more powdery. They have off all day.

I'm hoping to this weekend as i'm sitting by the fireplace at the lodge..

Ours was all powdery stuff here. Just too much of it for my liking. Meagan spent some time out playing Sunday, Monday and Tuesday, she likes it still. I wouldn't mind getting a lot of snow if it would warm up more. The snow didn't really phase me much in Japan, and we got 176" the last winter we were there, but the average temp was around 45 for highs, so mostly we would get 12-15 inches at a time, but it would be melted in 3 or 4 days completely. It is the horrible cold that I really hate.

T has one of those crazy families who LIKE snow, and they are going to a ski lodge this weekend, I believe.

I think they are going skiing this weekend. Well, the rest of the family is going skiing...T will be sitting by the fire in the lodge doing

Brandi you will soon see T is like a rolling stone, she can't stay in one place for too long. She is continuously going somewhere, either for fun or for her kids sports. Her personal mission in life is to meet every DISser there ever was and she has met a lot. Also she likes , quiet evenings at home, margaritas, rainbows and butterflies. and anyone named DU.

Got to sleep in a bit today, had to get some bloodwork at the drs so I came in work late. Hopefully the snow will be gone today when I get home.

B loves his new job. He was trained on the register and on stocking. He said he was working in the dog aisle and thought of Zoe and the cat aisle and thought of Huck......I think he was bsing the poor pets. They already changed his schedule. He works 4-9 tonight and then tomorrow 7am to ? Won't know that til today or tomorrow. Already off the weekend.
