Our sad trip....

We're so sorry for your loss, and we understand. My husband's step-father died suddenly when we were en route to Disney last November. It was a hard couple of days, very emotional. It's so weird to deal with real-life issues when you're at the happiest place on earth.
 
So sorry for your loss. I work for a funeral home and it always amazes me how many people are on vacation when their loved ones pass and they hold everything off for a week or two while they are away. Glad to hear you received such amazing customer service. Hugs to you and your family.
 
I'm sorry to read of your loss. It is hard to lose a parent and to do so while trying to enjoy a place as happy and magical as Disney must make it even harder. My thoughts will be with your family. When you are ready, Disney will still be here and you can come back. Your FIL would want your children to enjoy a vacation and make some great memories.
