Our recent use of Connections Q&C

Just returned on 1/31 and here are our experiences.

Beaches and Cream - still a good deal but told that starting on Monday, 1/27, ice cream drinks or frozen drinks are considered desserts. Was told this by two different waitstaff. However, later in the week we were able to order smoothies from Pepper Market and Mara with no problem, so I don't know if this is just a Beaches and Cream thing.

Pepper Market - also still a good deal. Hostess told us we could also order a salad or fruit cup as a side dish even though our meal (grilled prime rib) came with mashed pototoes and grilled veggies.

Mara - Don't remember what we had but cost was $36.82 for the two $11 vouchers but I wasn't crazy about the meal or the restaurant (reminded me of a basement cafeteria). Was probably worth the $22 the vouchers cost us but not the $36 it would have cost without vouchers.

All in all, vouchers are still worth it to us and we will use them again in the future.

Was there a new rule regarding the kitchen sink., or was it just the frozen drinks that has changed..
We also had a great hostess at Pepper market that included our kids meal in the vouchers. Great value.

I had a frozen sunshine on the 27th with my voucher..so they were still allowing it on that day.
We were told at each visit this trip, that when the old coupons expire in May, or when people have the newer coupons with new end dates, the KS will be excluded. I have no idea why they have let us have frozen drinks up til now, since those are already excluded. Same at Peppermill...they said no frozen drinks for us, but said we could have a side, even though our meal came with two already (our bill there was @$36 for one $11 voucher).

I was going to wait to order my vouchers so the expiration date was past this May, but I guess I will have to order them now so I can get the KS included. Thanks for the info.

I don't know if that will help you mego... on the bottom of the certificates they have some type of disclaimer like 'we reserve the right to change without notice'... so Beaches & Cream could stop allowing the KS even if you have the 'old' voucher.

We just got back and we were told that only 1 KS could be ordered per group (no matter how many certificates you were using)....

I just tried to order vouchers today and connections is out of them. My guess is soon they will have them with later exp. dates.

Wow, sounds like Pepper Market is even a BETTER deal with connections Q&C vouchers than I thought!! I got the ribeye with 2 vegetables, drink and dessert and thought it was a fabulous deal. In fact, way more than I could even eat- but then ANOTHER side dish? Wow...

InstImpres, I order my vouchers yesterday (2/3) and my order went through ok. After reading your post this morning I just called to verify that the vouchers were still available. I talked to Tracy, her number is 16225. I just thought I'd pass along the information.
