Just wanted to make a few comments on our 11/12-19 trip. We had beautiful weather and loved our stay at CSR. We got the room area we wanted(Cabannas building 8a) and everyone was very friendly and helpful. The parks were very crowded. Not like we are used to for this time of year. We were surprised that wait times weren't bad even with the crowds. We made good use of fast pass and did several rope drops. Rode Seven Dwarfs about 8 times! We attended the Christmas Party on 11/15. It was fun and we did a lot but don't think we will do it again. It was a lot of money. Now for the food....we had free dining and felt it was way too much food. Also if you have to make reservations, you shouldn't have to wait 45 minutes to be seated and miss your Wishes fast pass. Plaza I'm looking at you! Food was ok nothing special. Best meal was dinner at 1900 Park Fare. The stepsisters were a hoot, and the food was good. Worst experience was Via Napoli. It is usually our favorite but after waiting an hour for our pizza, the manager came out, apologized and didn't charge our dining plan the credits. Well that's it. If you have any questions just ask.

Glad you had a good trip overall. We love CSR and always stay in the Cabanas! It seems to get many negative reviews on here, and it's nice to hear a good one. Sadly, we could only get POP for Dec. trip, will miss the comfy queen beds! Totally agree on 1900PF - stepsisters are the best, along with the strawberry soup! Looking forward to doing it again this trip with DD after a few yrs. - hopefully you got to see the giant gingerbread house while you were there(not sure if it was done yet). Can't believe you missed your Wishes FP - I think I would have flipped out and asked for my food to go - no reason to be that far behind! Sounds like you made the best of it and got a lot done despite the crowds.

Yes we did see the gingerbread house. It was not officially done but looked finished to me. We did ask for the dessert to go, but it was still too late. I am surprised at all the negative reviews here for CSR. We were a little worried after reading them, but it was great. And the bus service was fantastic. One time we waited about 30 minutes for an Animal Kingdom bus. That was rare. We complained to a random bus driver and within 5 minutes a tour bus ( we are talking padded seats etc) came asked us if we were waiting for AK, and said hop on. There were only 8 of us on the bus! Most waits were 10-15 minutes from bus stop 4. pepper Market was good too. Lots of conventioneers in the morning, but quiet the rest of the day.

We stayed at CSR for the first time in September - we loved it! I think it will likely be our go-to Moderate from now on (we like POR and CBR too, but CSR was so much more peaceful - even when the parks were crazy busy!) We also had good experiences with the buses!
