We finally brought her home last night. She is such a good dog. The friends that we got her from said of all the litters they have had, she has been the best pup. They had a lot of other people that wanted her over the past month so it was good we got there first.

She was really good last night, slept all night. She has been good about going to the bathroom in one spot outside and hasn't had any "accidents" other then some "I'm so happy to see you" leakage.

DD SCREAMED when we brought her into the house. They are just thrilled! They are doing a good job watching her, but since we have her confined in the kitchen, that isn't that hard.

We took her for a walk last night and she did pretty well on the leash. She doesn't bark other then once in the yard when the neighbors dogs were barking. We will have to introduce them soon. She isn't done with her shots yet so I don't want her around too many dogs.

She has the attention span of a gnat so getting a picture of her has been difficult. I will try to get one later and post it.

We named her "Dublin" after some debate. Our nephew suggested "Tree Stump" but we passed on that one.

Ok, here is a picture:

I see you added a pic :)

He's adorable..what kind of breed is he?

He's a she and she is a Rat Terrier. Very smart dog already which will make her easy to train. Her mom has the same face but her body is white with black spots, dad is all tan with some white spots. A Rat Terrier is a mix of a Manchester Terrier and a Smooth Fox Terrier. The Manchester Terrier looks like a mini-doberman pincer so she takes after that side of the family.

I think my dog is a rat terrior too. They said he was a toy smooth fox terrior, but I always said he looks like he is mixed with a Manchester Terrior, so a rat terrior would explain that. He looks just like yours. He is so cute and so smart, but very fast and active. He is so much fun! Enjoy your puppy!

We just got a new Great Dane puppy last Friday. He is like having a toddler on caffeine without a diaper. He sure is a handsome fellow though, even with the styrofoam cup on his head (his ears were just cut). If I can get him (Brutus) to sit still long enough I will post a picture.

AWWWWWWWWWWWW!

What a sweetie! How big will she get?

Give her lots and lots of hugs - she will give you much more in return.

She is so very cute

She's adorable. I love the name, that's our cat's name, too.

Dublin, what a cutie. Love that little innocent look in her eyes, like, 'pick me up'. Congratulations.

I am guessing about 15 lbs. Mom and dad are about that, mom a little less, dad a bit more.

Sounds like everything is going great (other than your daughter throwing up!) Dublin is a very sweet and unique name and it looks like she is a sweetie herself! Please keep the pictures coming.

She's a beauty!!!! Give her a smooch from "Aunite Patty".

I consider myself auntie to all pets!!!! :dog2:
