First some background. We're staying at CSR 6/24/-7/1 with the basic Dining Plan and 8 day Park Hoppers with the water park option. We've got two boys, ages 6 an 3. The 3 year old has food allergies to milk, egg, peanuts and tree nuts. (So Ohana dinner is out...no peanut sauce for us!) The 3 year old is a Mickey Mouse Clubhouse addict and the 6 year old is a Star Wars freak. (We're missing Star Wars weekends by _THIS_ much and I'm bummed about that!) The last time I was at WDW was in 1979 and the Magic Kingdom was the ONLY park. We stayed at the Contemporary and I don't remember that much of it!

I'm trying to develop my plan for my ADRs. However, we don't know the park hours and such, so the control freak in me is struggling with not being able to have all this nailed down yet.

Our plane lands in MCO at 1:30 pm. My thought was to check in to the hotel and perhaps head over the MK in the evening just to check things out. Our flight leaves on the next Wednesday at 5:00 pm.

So far I think I'd like to do:

Chef Mickey's (originally was thinking breakfast, but I may switch that one to dinner)
Ohana breakfast (I'm thinking of scheduling a brunch time on our last day since our flight leaves late)
Mama Melrose Fantasmic package
Le Cellier (originally was thinking Coral Reef, but reviews have been quite spotty)
Crystal Palace breakfast - on a day when there are no morning EMH
Hoop De Doo Musical Review

That would use up all or TS credits. I would lilke to get to Liberty Tree Tavern, since that's the one meal I remember from my trip in 1979. I remember the clam chowder...how weird is that?!? I'm a little on the fence about that HDDMR and whether it's worth 2 credits.

Thoughts?

You have a pretty good selection. The only comments I would make are regarding LeCellier and HDDR. I don't think LeCellier is terribly kid friendly, although the food reviews are usually great. As for HDDR, we have been there twice and will go again, but we never waste a double TS on it. You're better off paying cash. You want category 1 or 2 seating and you're more limited when using the DDP. You can't get category 1 seating on the DDP until the late (9:30PM) show. The jokes will go over the little ones' heads, but we did it the first time with 12, 9 & 5 year olds and they enjoyed it.

Thanks so much for the feedback! I'm happy to hear that's what you do with HDDR too. I was considering paying out of pocket, but it's comforting to see somone else had the same thought! I also had the same concerns about Le Cellier. I'm going to have to think about that one....

Congrats on your trip! We are going our first time with the kids this summer, too, and I had some of the same questions - esp. about HDDR. I think we will plan on paying OOP to get better seating and save our TS credits.

I love the DIS boards! :cheer2:

Sounds good so far! We did MM with the FDP in August. If I were paying extra for the FDP, it wouldn't be worth it, but since it's no extra charge and the changes have been made to Fantasmic schedule, I think this is a wise move. We loved our dinner at MM!

Crystal Palace is one of our favorite character meals, and we enjoyed Chef Mickey's breakfast as well.

We're one of those rare families who have never had a bad meal at the Coral Reef, and I think the kids might enjoy the atmosphere over Le Cellier. Though, the food at Le Cellier is fabulous and worth the stop.

We had Cat 2 seating at Hoop De Doo and can't complain. We were at the very back table and had no problem seeing or being a part of the show. Though, the youngest person in our party was 24, so that might be different with your little ones.

I haven't done Ohana's breakfast since 2000, but I've heard good reviews.

Hope that helps a little!
