Hi everyone,
I have been remiss in writing a review of our 1st Universal stay. We booked 2 connecting garden view rooms with our AP rate. Check in was a breeze, and were upgraded to 2Q Villa rooms. One was a deluxe room with the pullout sofa and the connecting room had floor to ceiling windows....with this view
that was 2269 and our connecting room was 2267
I was pleasantly surprised with the resort. It was quiet, and lovely. The water taxi was great. And our room was right by the harbor, villa and beach pools. It was very easy to navigate the resort with the stroller. Being that we were on the second floor, we hardly needed the elevators-just used the ramps outside.
US/PBH made my family into Universal lovers. We didn't eat often onsite, I drove to local fast food, Publix as my kids are very picky. The gelato and Sal's deli was very good though. Room service for breakfast-wouldn't do that again. Food not warm, and Confisco's buffet was better AND cheaper. All good, I wanted to try it.
My only negative comment, our bill had a lot of errors. Some due to having 2 rooms (double charges) A couple were hotel errors. The third person I went to was able to help.....but it took me 3 hours to rectify. Not enough to ruin the trip, but still gave me a huge headache.
The pool and activites were fabulous, and we spent a lot of time swimming! Early morning to HP, no lines...need I say more
Thank you to all on this thread for your advance planning help!!! We will definitely stay on site again!

it was a bad way to end the visit....if it had happened at check in they would've had more time to make it up to me

) We also loved picking up breakfast items from Sal's in the morning. They have incredible pastries and oldest DD and I were completely in love with their croissants that had the dark chocolate pieces baked in. OMG---just divine with coffee. Dh always got a breakfast sandwich and youngest DD would usually have cereal and yogurt.
waffles were OK but not warm enough. We LOVED Sal's too
