We are going jun 4 to jun 7. FL is the first park to go. Kids are 6, 4, 12, 20. We have two days during our stay that the park has EMH and a late evening. We will be staying in the parks for all day as we are traveling each day from daytona..due to H business plans. we plan on getting to the park by 8:30 each day, have purchased our park hoppers advanced and will be here on 5/12. The kids want to do one park a day basically. But open to doing a couple in one day if one seems more crowded than the other. Not planning on ride jumping around too much, just going in order kind of. Any other suggestions? tips? Does this sound okay???? I don't want to disappoint them and make it a memorable trip for them, but I can feel the anxiety is building in me...

I think it sounds great. And your kids at that age should be fine to stay at park all day. Just take it slow; don't feel rushed or pressured to get it all in. Study the maps and pick out the main things you want to get done and make sure to do those first, then do others as time allows. I definitely wouldn't miss the fireworks or Spectro parade at MK. For a short visit, personally I wouldn't bother making food ressies. We usually just eat counter service most of the time anyway 'cause we want more time to do other things. Plus, we eat out all the time at home and get tired of it. I have never found anything special about most Disney restaurants (please don't shoot the messenger---I know many will disagree). We just eat variety for counter service, like the BBQ at AK, the fish and chips at that place in MK (like a Long John Silver's)...You'll be there part of the time we will be. Have fun!!

Oh thanks! I feel like I'm planning as they say, commando WDW...I think I've gotten myself overwhelmed before we arrive. Nervous about going it alone, but have the two older ones to help, 12 and 20 with the little ones 6 and 4. I don't plan on a reservation as they are too picky and prefer hams, hot dogs, chicken, and am interested in the fish and chips in epcot, are they good? I have been told to try the turkey leg and I do want to do a nice dinner on the last night either Cap n Jac or the Coral Reef, will i need to make reservations for them? I have picked places to eat along the way that I know they will eat the food. Is there anything I'm missing? Hey maybe we can run into each other. I guess I'm supposed to put that lime green mickey head on my stuff with my "italianfamilia?" is that how it works? We will be there june 4 at opening as the kids want to get there asap..lol
