Fri 10/31 - leave for home - early

**still debating whether to puchase MNSSHP tickets for one evening

So what are your thoughts?? We like to keep it fairly simple, take our time and allow for breaks when we need them.

Sounds like a busy schedule, but if you take your time and take breaks you should be fine. I've driven down twice from Philadelphia and it really isn't that bad of a ride. Enjoy it.

Looks like a good plan. How 'bout a day a at one of the Water Parks like Blizzard Beach (or Typhoon Lagoon). I'm sure your DD, as well as you and your DH will just love the wintery ski-lodge theme. It would work out great if you have a park hopper for your length of stay. Usually we do the water park the day before we leave, because it gives us time to finally relax on vacation. And we leave the last day for seeing our favorites sights/rides again before we leave. You'll have a nice drive from PA; we're from Philly and I've driven down 2x in college, and 1x with the family. ENJOY !!!!!

Looks good.

But your schedule looks really busy at the beginning of your trip. You have a travel day plus the MK, followed by three full park days.

How about perhaps changing your itinerary in such a way that you have either Monday or Tuesday as your DisneyQuest/Downtown Disney day?? That way, you could have a more leisurely morning to relax or perhaps sleep in a bit and still have plenty of time that day for your planned activities.

You could then follow that with your remaining park days. I'm thinking that 3-1/2 full park days in a row after a drive from Pennsylvania might be a bit much for a 7-year-old.

Oh, and here's a vote for MNSSHP, especially if you've never been able to enjoy this on any previous trips!! Perhaps you could finish up your trip doing this on the evening of the 30th (I know you're leaving early on the 31st, but you wouldn't necessarily have to stay late to enjoy it!!)

Here's a good link for info if you haven't already seen it:

Thanks for your thoughts - we aren't planning on doing a whole lot on our arrival day at MK - maybe just the Parade and dinner at Crystal Palace (was my DD's request for day of arrival) and just shopping around Main Street.

The other days do seem a bit busy - how would MGM be on Wed?? Might switch DD/DQ to Mon and MGM on Wed. Would that work better????

Thanks again.

Melinda
