Wednesday, September 26
Once again we started our morning ritual before the sun came up. We had the bathroom/showering time down to a system. Breakfast was in the Food Court Again. Today we were off to Animal Kingdom for opening.
We heard the little opening show at 8:00 am, but couldnt see it through the other people. I think the characters were doing something. We headed straight for the Safari. I have always heard to do this early because the animals are more active. It was true. We saw lots of animals up real close. Next it was off to the Lion King show. When we arrived we found out the first show was cancelled. It took some rearranging of our plan, and had us do some back tracking, but everything worked out fine in the end. Instead of LK, we went to Dino Land. We rode Dinosaur and played in th Boneyard. Then we went back to try for Lion King again. What a great show! Definitely dont miss this one. We then went back to the Boneyard for a few minutes before going into Tarzan Rocks. After Tarzan it was about 12:15, time to leave.
We went back to ASMO and again the kids played in the little kiddie pool. Then we all got washed up and headed to MGM for the Fantasmic dinner package.
Earlier, while at the Lion King show, they announced how all the new parades were starting that week. Knowing the MGM parade was at 4:30, and our PS for FDP was at 5:30, we tried to get there early to see the parade. We arrived at 4:10, got a great spot, then both kids fell asleep. That was ok though because I got video and pictures. The parade was very good, but I liked MKs parade better (See Friday, day 6). We arrived at Mama Melrose at 5:05 and were seated in 5 minutes. We had a very good meal there. We had sometime to spare before Fantasmic so DH and I went to Sounds Dangerous, while DM and the kids played in the interactive area there. The kids loved that! Then it was off to Fantasmic. We got in around 7:30 for the 8:00pm show. We loved this show just as much as last year. After Fantasmic we called it a night since we would have another early day tomorrow.
