The 'boards have helped me make a lot of decisions, and I'm hoping for some advice about our specific situation!

Myself (25), my DSis (27), and our parents (early 60s) are at the Poly from October 23-October 30, with 5 Park days. This is our first trip in almost 20 years! None of us care about HS, so I've planned for 2 MK days, 1 AK day, and 2 EP days to take advantage of Food&Wine. We won't be getting to the Parks before 10:30am-11am; we're all night owls and I haven't seen the light side of a sunrise in two years.:sunny:

Right now, this is our plan:
Wednesday 24 - MK in Adventureland, Frontierland, and Liberty Square
Thursday 25 - MK in Fantasy and Tomrrowland, followed by MNSSHP
Friday 26 - Rest Day & Disney Springs
Saturday 27 - Animal Kingdom
Sunday 28 - EPCOT Future World
Monday 29 - EPCOT World Showcase

My big puzzle comes in with the Parks' Extra Magic Hours. AK has EMH at 8am that Saturday, and EPCOT has EMH Sunday evening. Is it more advantageous to stay away from EPCOT during F&W on a Saturday, or will the extra evening hours draw more crowds to AK?

Suggestions are appreciated! :thanks:
(Please don't tell us to rope-drop. It may start the zombie apocalypse. Or ragnarok. Terrible things happen when we wake up too early.)

You won't need a full day at EPCOT Future World.

If you CANNOT (or will not) take advantage of the full hour of AM EMH at any park,
it is unwise to go to that park on an AM EMH morning.

A park with PM EMH will tend to get more busy as the close of regular hours on that day.

I actually like your schedule. Even tho you are going to AK on an early EMH, if you get fastpasses for Flight of Passage and any other rides you want to do, you should be fine. I just got a email from Touring Plans that AK crowd changed to 6. It could change again.

I would stay away from Epcot Showcase on the weekends.

A little off topic. Since I am in my late 60's, I would have your folks starting walking at least 2 months before you arrive. My goal is 10K steps, and my feet still start to hurt when I am there. 1st day I walked 19k steps at MK(what was I thinking?!)

I'm starting to get that, with Energy Adventure closed (major bummer) and what seems like half the World under construction. Still, maybe we could split that day, doing Future World attractions followed by the UK and Canada World Pavilions.
I've read that crowds will be heavier around EMH, I'm just hopeful that there's a balance of not-TOO-crowded that I can hit with some combination of planning!

We're 100% getting fastpasses for FOP, Everest, and Kilimanjaro, those are our must-dos. My DSis and I were going to standby for Na'Vi River Journey in the late afternoon, but the EMH crowds usually thin out by then, right?

Definitely. We're also renting portable scooters for both of them, because even with training they would be miserable. I'm more concerned for myself at this point. :D

Thank you both!
