Our Oct trip has just been upgraded woo hoo

So we were to head down on Oct 17th and arrive for the 19th to the 24th but now our plans have changed I now have a full 3 weeks holidays at work so we are now heading down on the 11th and staying till the 24th. This is a huge suprise trip for the kids we are leaving early and camping along the way in Tenn and GA they have no idea we are going to Disney this year.

Ya we did the suprise trip for teh first time in May of 05 and the kids were extatic. This time we are switching it up a bit to throw them off track. They know we are going to travel through teh US for a week but now it is longer than that and our ultimate destination is Disney again. They are going to go crazy because as far as they know we aren't taking them back till 2009 LOL.

I love surprises - we told the kids that I had to go to a conference in Seattle (since we had to fly through there anyway). They thought we were going there for a week or so. My son did research on line about all the army surplus stores that his dad and he like to visit. When he found out we were going to Disney World he said, "so I did all that research for nothing?" Go figure.

We are going the same time as you!! We are staying at AKL thanks to a fellow Disboards member we are renting points. Would love to take our tent trailer some year and test that out. We will be there from the 19-29th and will be attending a MNSSHP for sure!!

That is awesome. We should try and figure out how to meet up maybe at the MNSSHP. I hear it is a blast that is why we are foregoing the usual Dec trip to check out the party for Halloween.

Sounds like a great plan. We have not got anything finalized yet but when we do we'll be in touch. You guys will love the party. We like it way better then the Christmas one..it is nice too though. We are planning on checking out Universal Studios for a change this year as well. Take Care Kat

Thanks Kat the kids love MVMCP so I am hoping they really enjoy the halloween party.

So our itinerary so far is
2 days in teh Great Smokey mountain state park then 2 days in Savannah GA then 2 days in Crystal Springs in Florida then down to Myakka state park near Sarasota then up to Fort Wilderness for 6 days.
