Glad you had a wonderful anniversary! And your dinner looks so yummy! I havent ever eaten there so you pretty much sold me on it at the appetizers and surf and turf pic! I am such a lightweight that I could only drink a few sips of your beloved Lapu Lapu thingy before the room started spinning! So I just stick to a white wine spritzer a couple of times a year. My guess about the mystery pic is that its MM!!!

Ok, I'm all caught up on your trip report! Love it love it love it! How cool that your man was into Epcot finally! You know, I never appreciated it as a child (er, um 15 year old actually at the time!) and now just love Epcot! Our 3 girls love it too, so much so that we're spending 2 days there in November

First off, you looked fabulous in that dress! Man, I soooo could not pull that off right now. Maybe soon (I'm on the South Beach diet and it sucks but it works!)

Ok, I laughed out loud when I saw the picture of the Monchici's in Japan!!! I had 2 of them when I was little and I still remember the song..."Monchichi monchichi, oh so soft and cuddly..." I loved how you could shove their thumbs in their mouths and they would stay in place Oh, the memories. Now if only I could find a Holly Hobbie stove...

if you need help/motivation to lose weight, you should join the peeps thread. they helped me IMMENSELY!!! just go to the wish board and search for a thread called the DISappearing peeps. we're on volume 3 now so be sure to look for the one that says something about volume 3!

Hey Dawn! What a romantic dinner at Narcoosie's (?) Wouldn't it be cool to win that dream! I was hoping to eat there after I saw your lobster tail from last year, but it's 2 TS credits on the DDP, so I guess we'll stick to the budget this March! Maybe another time!

You dinner at Narcoosee's looked so good. Maybe someday when me and DH go by ourselves we can make it there, right now it's family time. Both dinners looked yummy and creme brulee (insert smiley licking lips). I'm the same as you maybe even worse with the lightweight department, except I drink a couple of wine coolers and I'm done.

All of your food looked wonderful. And key lime creme brulee sounds awesome. Creme brulee and key lime pie are my two fave desserts, so what could be better than the two of them combined?

I also love So you think you can dance! I just got back from a trip to Greece and the FIRST thing I did when I got home was watch my Tivo'ed episodes of that show!

ray LOVES that key lime creme brulee. it is really good but i think i like the almond-crusted cheesecake there better. we didn't get both this year though because i really full!

I'm a very cheap date too, but your drinks look really good. Nothing wrong with an early bedtime, then you will be ready to get to the parks early in the morning.

we did get to bed early but we only sat the alarm on one day during this trip and that was the last day for rope drop at MK. otherwise we usually slept until around 9:00. we're lazy!

What a nice evening... EPCOT then dinner. I hope someday to go there, just DH and I. I think if next trip the grandparent go.... (they are dying to see the girls at WDW) we will ditch them for a dinner, or two and that would be a great choice!

I am also totally excited for you to see the World at Christmas- you will love it! We went there a couple of years ago during Dec and I so loved the Christmas touches (not the weather though- brrrr). I think your plans look awesome for then!

when the girls are a bit older you should have a date night and take them to the neverland club and then you guys go to narcoosee's for dinner.

i can't wait for our christmas trip! i'm actually hoping it's a bit chilly though. i can't imagine walking around in shorts and a santa hat!

All i have to say is WOW! I just read 53 pages of posts on 2 hours. My husband is in awe how facinated I was reading. He is now in bed and I must follow. We have 2 months to go for our trip. My husband and I lucked out and did 2 anniversary trips in 04 and 06 Totally amazing! This year our trip is marking the end of my daughters last chemo treatment! I look forward to doing a trip report like this! I can't wait til your next post!

I'm a lightweight too, so I can sympathize, though you did better then I'd probably do after four drinks, since you were able to walk, and I get sleepy too. Example; I went to the beach with my cousins a few weeks ago, and we played a game one night, anyway, I had three beers in about twenty minutes, and I was drunk after that, except that was already after having two drinks before the game, so it really was like five drinks in an hour or so, and I'd been drinking rum and cokes all day. I may have just been buzzed all week. There were just two nights when I felt actually drunk though, and both of those nights were when we played games. Sorry, I got like way off topic with that.

in 31 years of life i had only gotten sick from alcohol twice: once the first time i got drunk and once in savannah when i mixed too many different liquors. pretty good track record, huh? and i could hold my own with anyone when drinking. but after i lost the weight i did last year and reduced my calorie intake, i just can't do it any more! i got sick twice last year in a 12-month period from drinking. i think i had 4 margaritas (used to be nothing to me) the first time and 3 glasses of wine the second time.

i agree - this season for SYTYCD is awesome. my favorite couples are katee & joshua, kherington & twitch and chelsie & mark. i can't pick just one!

I don't know about being better at the games, but my cousin did make a point of "picking" on me, and making me drink more, (like I really minded that much, ) it was definatly tons of fun though.

For this, you might want to open a new window or tab on the Dis homepage to make the initial changes you need. Here goes:

Click on "quick links" on the top navbar. Choose user control panel. On the left navbar, click Edit Options. Scroll all the way to the bottom. Under Message Editor Interface, select "Enhanced Interface - Full WYSIWYG Editor" (stands for what you see is what you get). Save changes.

Now, when posting, if you use the icon above to insert a picture, just insert the URL for the photo in the field that pops up. Now, select the picture you inserted by clicking on it. It should have little 'select' squares around it, like this:





I just used the ROFL icon to illustrate. While the pic is selected, click on 'insert a link' above. Paste the URL (address) to your next update page in there. Preview the post, to make sure it's linking properly, then post. That's it! So now you can make nifty little clues via photo that link to the next update, instead of just typing "click here for the next installment". Oh and the pic above links to my myspace.

i don't know if you all have heard, but they are shutting down pleasure island on september 28th this year to do a revamp of the entire area. since i've never been to any of the clubs, i'm not really concerned about it. EXCEPT that i really wanted to go to the adventurer's club this trip and we didn't because, well, i was overserved! so it breaks my heart that i may never get to experience it.

i found a thread on the DIS where someone created a petition to save the adventurer's club. please sign it if you agree with me that they should definitely try to keep this club around! it only takes a second. i know a lot of people are very disappointed by this so i hope disney will decide to keep it.

I signed it. I actually love all of Pleasure Island. I come from a family that likes to shake their groove things, and on our last trip, we were able to go clubbing with our (then) 18 y.o., 16 y.o, our friends, and their 14 y.o. Where else can you do that?
