Ray's Drawing isn't the worst I've seen.......You've inspired me to try the Animation Academy the next time I'm there......
The lady on the cell phone...at least you gotta a picture.....
Can't wait to hear about the I SPY.....
Hope you feel better.......
i will definitely try to do it next time i'm there - it was fun! i had to get that photo.....couldn't resist taking a picture of an idiot!
Very good pictures. Nice poses with The Incredibles!
Save your making fun of pictures stuff until you see mine. Hopefully we'll get to do that on this trip, and then there will truly be something to make fun of! Even my stick people are pretty pathetic.
i'm not normally a good artist AT ALL. but they take you through it step by step and it's really easy. but i still wanna see yours!
Hehee, love the photo of the cell phone lady!
Ray's picture of Pooh is cute! It kinda looks like a cross between Pooh, and that scary psycho bunny in Donnie Darko. Heeeee.
Looking forward to her how you liked you Mama Melrose dinner!
i had to get her picture...what a dingbat! i'll tell ray that someone thought his picture was cute!
Glad you liked LMA! When Ray and I saw it in June of 06 it was about 95 degrees and we had to sit near the front. The heat/fire from the stunts was horrible and we both had sweat dripping off our faces. We swore not to see it again but I bet my dad's gf's son will want to in Aug...we will just sit farther back!!!
I'm also curious to hear how MM's was...we aren't big Italian eaters but I'd like to see pics at least.
yeah, i remembered that and i told my ray that we didn't want to sit close to the front because of the heat. it wasn't too hot that day anyway. we sat about halfway up and to the right.
Love the Installment Dawn, the animation drawings were too cute, do you think kids could sit through that or is it super long. I know Luke would love it and Lauren would attempt but if it's drawn out we'd have to skip it.
Glad you saw the stunt car show, I thought the same as you, but I loved it too, it is a cool show. I like the grabbing snacks idea before it, we have sat there for a LONG time in the heat waiting for it to start, I'll buy snacks before this time
Love how you said "seriously!" out loud to get the guy to move, I would have done the same I say "seriously" a lot , especially in disney

.
I love the pic of the rude lady on the cell too, what nerve!!!!
Can't wait for more!
Lesley
no, it's not long at all. there were lots of kids in there with us. one little boy actually got to move right up front because his mom had forgotten his glasses. i tend to say "seriously" while at disney a lot too.
Great pics of DHS! We haven't done the Animation thing or LMA before -- we may need to fit them in now that I have seen your pictures!
the animation class is fun! you should try it. remember not to sit too close if you go to LMA. i'm sure it'll be hot when you guys go and the heat from the cars and fire can be intense.
Dawn we did the animation class and we drew Mickey but mine looked more like Winnie

i wanted to draw mickey! oh, well. maybe next time.
Good stuff! I love your pictures! So fun!
You handled those rude people faboulously! haha I love it!
thanks! sometimes i have a tendency to say TOO much. i'm learning with age that subtlety and at times over-friendliness is the key.

although i wouldn't call taking that woman's picture subtle - that was just to shock into getting off the phone!
Great update! I'm glad you "front'ed" (he he) on the people cutting in line. And the picture of the lady cracked me up. Like what was she thinking when you took her picture?

A friend of mine and I will text pictures of people we see out and about that make us laugh. Like a lady in wal-mart with a big 80's bangs and mullet action?
And I know you told us not to laugh at Ray's drawing, but does giggling count as laughing?
i hope it made her feel as stupid as she looked! that was my intent anyway. she hung up quickly after i took the pic. go ahead......giggle. i won't tell.
Love this update!
OK, you're the best and I'll tell you why! We missed the Beauty and Beast show the last 2 times we were at DHS and I was really bummed about it. Seeing your pictures of the show, oooooh, I'm just SO excited to see now. Even more than before if that's possible!

I first saw the movie as a teenager but immediately fell in love with it!
Secondally, I've been VERY curious to see what the animation tour is all about. People have described it but I've never seen pictures. My 3 DD's and I LOVE to draw and want to do this when we go in November! It looks so cool! So, everyone gets a clipboard and seat? Awesome! I wish you were continually on vacation at Disney so you could ALWAYS be doing a trip report!
Your trip report is so much fun! You both always look like you're having the best time, no matter what you're doing. Thanks for being so detailed and I love all the pictures!
glad i could get you even more excited about your trip! when i babysat my brother and sister the summer before my senior year (1993), they watched beauty & the beast EVERY morning as i was making them breakfast, so i know EVERY line and it grew to be one of my favorites. definitely try the animation class - it's fun to see what your drawing turns out to look like! and, oh, by the way, if you want to fund my trips i will be happy to be on vacation at disney for you!
Hi Dawn, Loved the update!

The video was great - we haven't seen LMA yet, either. It is definately on the list for March, as well as the animation tour. We have seen the Mushu part (lame) and then we toured the sales part - DH really wants to buy a sketch next time - but we haven't tried the drawing class. We will have to try it - BTW, I like Ray's drawing, it has alot of character! Of course yours if Fabulous darling!
the mushu part was lame in my opinion. i wonder if you can skip it and go straight to the character greeting room, where you can skip that too if you want and just get in line for the animation class? it's worth a try!
I have to disagree with you about Ray's drawing of Pooh, I don't think it looks like a rabbit, I think it looks a little bit like Pip, the chipmunk from Enchanted.
That is a really cool pic of the Studios that you took at LMA of the hat, TOT, and the Chinese theater.
I read your Dec plans, and I think it would be hard for a four-year old to sit through. I consider it a very entertaining church service, but I've seen it before, and it's nothing I would feel the need to sit through again. Plus, if you don't have the dining package, the line is insane.
i do see a bit of pip in there! that's too funny! about the candlelight processional, that's what i've heard from others too. it's really a good show, but once you've seen it then it's not something you'd necessarily repeat. so maybe we can catch it someday. i'm not really worried about missing it - i think i'd rather just take my time and walk through WS and just take in all the christmas decorations!
