another installment of "where in the world are brooke and jon?"

brooke called me today around noon. they had just gotten back from TL and were having lunch at pop, then cleaning up and heading over to epcot for the rest of the day. right about now they are perhaps watching "turtle talk" right before going to their early dinner ADR at coral reef.

she said that they had a great day at AK yesterday - no rain and the longest they waited for anything was 15 minutes! she said the rain sunday at MK was relentless.....not thunderstorms but just constant rain. but they still got everything done that they wanted to do, so that's good. she said raglan road was really fun - good atmosphere. her food was okay, not spectacular, but she really loved the environment. and of course they had a blast at the adventurer's club! i really want to try to go by there in september if we can manage it. she said TL was fun but definitely just a half-day kinda thing. which is good for them since they were going to epcot anyway.

i really hope she does a TR so she can give you guys all the details yourselves. she says they have some great pictures and i know you guys would love to see them!

Thanks for sneaking in a little bit of Raglan Road review via your sister! I actually just have a lunch spot that opened up so I may try and get over there for lunch on that day. I hope you guys can get the chance to check out the Adventurers Club before they close it. I will let you know what we thought of it when we get back, along with a full trip report with pictures and video

today brooke and jon are going shopping at downtown disney and then to disney quest. then tonight they're going back to DHS to enjoy dinner at sci-fi dine-in theater and fantasmic, then EMH late into the night.

right now they're perhaps eating lunch at wolfgang puck express.......i can takes the BBQ chicken quesadilla right now!

i went to a body shop "girls night out" party last night and it was soooo much fun! if you ever get a chance to go to one, do it. my legs and arms are still feeling so silky! in fact, i didn't take a shower this morning because i didn't want to wash all the goodies off. i'm putting it off until after i work out tonight. don't worry......i used deodorant!

I've never shopped at the Body Shop, but I have walked by and smelled the yummy smells. Now I'll have to try some of the product. That puppy is too cute. My Labradoodle has hair on the top of her head like that too. It's so funny!

Yay, Dawn! I love The Body Shop. In fact, right now I have three different types of body butter in my bathroom cabinet. Lovely!!

Also, I highly recommend their Milk Bath. You just pop a tablespoon worth of the little white granules into your bath, and it softens the water amazingly! It feels like you're lying a soft bed of white marshmallows. Ahhhhhhh. Makes your skin feel beautiful and soft.

(But shhh, don't tell, because where I live in Australia we're not meant to have baths anymore, because of the drought. But surely a Body Shop milk bath is okay now and then.... Hehee.)

I went to a Body Shop party a few years ago. It was fun, but I was expecting to get some bargains! In reality though, all the items they were selling at the party were the same price as in their stores. Plus, you had to wait a couple of weeks for them to be delivered! I just used their free stuff, then went to the Body Shop the next day to buy what I fancied! Hehee.

I've been to one of those Body Shop parties. We all got foot and hand massages - while sipping wine and enjoying munchies. My kind of party!

Love their peppermint foot lotion! I put it on faithfully every night before bed - I'm told I have the softest feet around!(and they smell pretty do - most of the time! )

i got a phone call last night from brooke around 10:30. i kept saying, "hello. hello? HELLO?" and no one would answer. then it dawned on me........they're on a ride! so i put the phone on speaker and let ray hear it too. after a few seconds i heard, "you are about to descend......" THEY WERE ON TOWER OF TERROR!!!!!!!!!!! i got so excited for them. then i heard brooke go, "oh, my god.....oh, my god" a couple of times before tehy started dropping. ray and i kept a count and we heard 8 screams. now i'm sure they didn't do 8 full drops - there were probably a couple of little ones thrown in there. but they had a GREAT ride. she called me back once they were off the ride and said that was the longest one they had ridden.

they didn't like disney quest yesterday. they only stay for about 30 minutes she said. she said the crowds have been really horrible except for their AK day. she and jon both don't want to go back in the summer ever again. i can't say i blame them! and the rain has been pretty bad, too. they got to DHS yesterday at 4:00 and that ToT ride at 10:30 was the first time they had ridden anything because the lines had been so bad all day. but they did get to see beauty & the beast (my fav!) and do the animation class, which are two things they've never done before.

right about now they're probably packing up their stuff and getting ready to check out of disney. i'm so sad for them! but the good news is they're heading to a friend's beach house and staying there for 2 nights, so that will be a nice, relaxing way to end the vacation.

i will let you guys know if brooke decides to do a TR. if she doesn't, i will get her permission to post pics of their trip on here for you guys to enjoy!

my DH would kill me! plus since we're going with friends, they wouldn't be happy about changing dates either. and we're staying in the condo and the last i heard, it was fully booked on the surrounding dates. we drive down on 12/10 but we won't be going to a park until 12/11.

i will keep the milk bath in mind. my friend anna and i are having a body shop party when i get back from disney in september, so maybe i'll get some of that then. i got a gift set with body scrub, body butter and shower gel all in shea butter scent. i also got some cooling foot spray. because all that cost just over $50, i qualified to get some foot soak and foot scrub and a cute little bag for $10, so of course i couldn't resist that, too!!!

that's sort of what this was! the sales rep didn't massage our feet or hands - we did it ourselves. but she showed us how to do it with the products. i can't blame her though - i wouldn't want to touch other people's feet! oh, and she refilled our wine for us - it was really a cool little party! i will keep the peppermint foot lotion in mind. i didn't get any because i already have some from another brand. but when that runs out maybe i'll get some from the body shop. i did get the peppermint foot spray, foot soak and foot scrub though.
