So excited!! Just booked our next family vacation to WDW for next year!! Now can't decide where to make dining reservations. Want to try new things but my kids are picky. They will be 15 & 8 when we go. Any suggestions?

If they're too picky, leave them at home. You're taking them to WDW, they should be happy wherever they eat.

One way to handle their pickiness is not to make too many table services reservations. The time and money might be wasted on them.

How about a lunch buffet where they can try different things. Crystal Palace (MK) and Tusker House (AK) are nice ones.

For fun, Whispering Canyon at Wilderness Lodge.

Epcot - rather than a sit down meal at Epcot, try counter service at different countries. Order two entrees from one country for family to share. Then do the same at another country.

Include the kids in planning and read menus.

Have them look at the menus online and pick their favourites. What I do with my kids is have them each list their top three, and I do my best to get one in for each kid. Also, remember it's best to choose restaurants close to the park you'll be at that day.

This time Jessica chose Crystal Palace (Pooh Bear!!), Brendan chose T-Rex (for his birthday), and Ciara chose O'hanas. I got all three, plus Le Cellier for MY birthday.

The more you let them join in the planning, the more fun everyone will have.
