Our mondays busy at magic kingdom?

Hi: Just wondering if monday is a good day to tour magic kingdoom during mid dec.

historically, Monday has been a very busy day at MK. But in mid December crowds should'nt be too bad at all.

Thanks, I was going to use monday as a rest day but my daughter wants to see spectromagic parade and it is only on mon or wed while we are there, and we are doing fantasmic on wed evening.

We've done MK on a Monday since 2001, and it's never been what we felt was overcrowded. Like you, we've been on Mondays because of Spectro. We're always there the 1st or 2nd week of December.

We were at MK this past Monday 10/31. It was the smallest crowd of our trip. Walked on or only 5 min. wait for every ride. Later that night for MNSSHP was a different story.

In MK can be very busy,in mid December I think you will be fine.You should be able to tour and see all with not to much of a wait.Have a safe and magical trip.If you haven't been at WDW during the holidays you and family are in for a great time.

This will be our first late Nov./early Dec. trip. We usually go in early spring so this is going to be a whole new experience for us at this time of year. I've been reading all I can from posters who are veterans at going during this time frame and trying to absorb all the helpful tips and ideas. We want to see Spectro and our choices are either Monday or Wednesday since MVMCP is scheduled on the other nights. We chose Monday for several reasons. I'm hoping it won't be packed then (Nov. 28) but, if it is, we'll make the best of it. We will be happy just to be there! We plan to go back to MK Wed. morning and it will depend on how much we got done on Mon. as to whether we stay the full day. We have lunch ADRs at CP so we'll probably decide after that whether to hop to another park.

The week after thanksgiving to the week before christmas are the absolutely slowest times ever. Great time to go. Weekends pick up a little but you should have the park to yourselfs, especially if it is cold (locals start to hide when its below 60)

Oh I hope it is a slow time, I am really looking forward to trying to take our time and just be relaxed about the whole trip also trying out restaurants we never have now that we have the dining plan.

We went in 2004 in January and in Feb.05 and we went both times on Monday to MK. Both times were very busy but we had to go because of spectromagic and we didn't want to miss it.
