Our MNSSHP experience from 9/15....

we also attended the mnsshp on 9/15 and it was our first time for a hard ticket event, we loved it and had a great time, we did not find the rain overwhelming or drenching that night although would have preffered no rain at all,we were waiting for the 10:15 performance of the villians in front of the castle and they cancelled that showing (i dont know about the other shows)but the villians did come out and mingled, etc, as far as the wristbands and nonpaying guests are concerned we have never been to a prior hard ticket event to judge by and we were worried after reading about the concerns here on the dis boards but we personally think disney handled the event very well, all in all we enjoyed the experience

Thanks for posting your experience!! We go 10/30 and can't wait (my first MNSSHP). I've been to MVMCP and loved that so I'm really looking forward to it (especially since I'll have my two grown sons with me).

Loved your pictures and loved your Halloween costume. Looks nice and easy. That's what I'm looking for - just might steal your idea!!

Thanks for your review and sharing your pictures! You are a cute family. Great idea to wear matching costumes. We are going 10/02 and I have yet to figure out what we are wearing. Thanks for the heads-up to be prepared for rain, just in case. :cheer2:

Glad you had a good time! :thumbsup2 princess:

I can't wait until next year when I can go for my first time! The pic at the HM is so cool!

hockey mom-DH has the card with him at work right now, but they did give us a special Photopass card with the MNSSHP logo on it.
Hi! I was wondering where they give you the MNSSHP special photopass card? I want to make sure I get one. Thank you so much for your great report and photos! :thumbsup2

You get them just like the regular cards. The photographers will have them and use them instead of your regular photopass.

The photogs will hand them out from 7pm on, they are a cute souvenier for the scrapbook themselves! :)

Thanks for the compliments & also a big thanks to the poster who gave us the music loops. I have much of the parade on tape from my video camera and we plan on transferring it and adding the music from those as it is much clearer. You can hear the music on my tape but also the rain!

For the poster who was there that night, glad you had a good time & I don't know where you were when the 1st parade started, but it was pouring down on us, my DS was wearing sneakers and the inside of them got soaked even though he wasn't standing in a puddle. We were completely drenched! Glad you didn't get it as bad as we did, maybe a different part of the park wasn't as bad as where we were in Frontierland! :)

Yeah, we should have given up on the parade when the downpour came, but we were worried it wouldn't let up so we stuck it out.

The Villians show was ok, I'm not a huge villians fan so it was nice to see, but I would have been ok either way. Sounds like you had a good time! :)

Thanks for the report and the pics, I can't wait to get a pic at the HM. I think my DS will too!!!

Thanks for the report. We were there on Sept 15 as well (dressed as a Star Wars family). I want to add one tip I noticed - the lines for the candy were very short during the parades! :thumbsup2:

We're MNSSHP newbies, too (we're going on OCt 19). Thanks for the report!

How were the Hallowishes fireworks? Pretty cool or lame compared to the regular Wishes?

Thanks for the report, you know we've been the last 2 yrs. and really found the park not too crowded and neither year did we wait more than 15 minutes for our photo. I wonder if we are in for a shock this year. I'm sure that the rain probably helped back things up since everyone wanted to be in or out at the same time. Fortunately you should not have that experience for Christmas. Although our Florida weather is fickle and should be regarded as such. We might go for christmas too although I didn't know so many of the rides would be closed then.
Hope your next MNSSHP is better.
....t.

sunny-we saw you guys somewhere, I don't remember if it was near the castle hub or someone in Frontierland maybe, but we thought--cool outfits!

Amy-Hope you have a great time! We enjoyed the fireworks, I guess I am just a huge "regular" Wishes fan so these weren't the best, but that is my opinion. I also thought they would do more 360 fireworks from what I read, but it wasn't exactly 360 degrees. They were still good and I'm glad we watched them.

I've read plenty of reports on days at WDW parks, and I have to say that yours was the most detailed, interesting, and informative I've encountered thus far.

Thanks.

Wow, you're making me blush!

I do tend to be a details person and wanted to try to answer all the questions I had read on earlier threads. Glad it helped!

Thanks for the pictures. We will get the picture in front of the coach now that I know how cool it looks.

Has anyone taken a pic of what the frame looks like and posted it? I have seen the t-shirt, but I stilll wanted to see the frame :) thanks!

Oh yes, that would be nice. I didn't even see the shirt. Where can I see that?
