Hello everyone. My DW and I have come up with our dates which will be May 15-18th. Of course it's not set in stone as we have'nt made reservations yet. We'll be going to the park the 16th, 17th and possibly for a little bit on the 15th depending on if we get 2 or 3 day tickets. Our DD's 6th bday is the 17th.
How is the park this time of the year? I've read other posts and it sounds like it won't be too bad. My other question is my DW read something about a Princess lunch what do you guys think would be better a character breakfast or the Princess lunch? We're looking forward to the trip. My DW and I have'nt been in years and it will be the first trip for our 2 DD's. Thanks everyone.

I think it's a perfect time to go!
Right between Mother's Day and Memorial Weekend. And May is my favorite time weather wise. It is usually warm and sunny, but not too hot. I think crowds will be low (for a weekend, but are always higher on weekends) and hopefully you will see all the parades, shows and fireworks. The Princess Lunch is at Ariels and while expensive, very well done and the food is good, too. The dining thread at the top has some very recent photos if you care to look. Have a great trip.:)

If your daughters are into princesses, I would definitely recommended a meal at Ariel's Grotto. You can do breakfast and lunch there. I couldn't tell from your post whether you thought it was only an option for lunch. We did the breakfast on our trip last year just because it was the cheapest. We were able to get in before the park opened, which was kind of neat.

Enjoy your trip and have fun planning!

This was the time frame we went last year. Overall it was great..very low crowds except on the weekend..However, it did get VERY hot (105) so be aware that that is a possiblity.
Ariel's Grotto also had a character breakfast, even though it was never advertised. We did that and all the DGK loved it..we'll do it again if we go back in Sept.

Ariel's Grotto has breakfast, lunch and dinner. :) Our 2 faves are Ariel's Grotto and Minnie & Friends, M&F is breakfast only so we have done M&F and then later gone to AG for dinner. :) It's pricey but kinda fun to do, and if we do that we just skip lunch because no one needs that much food in one day....at least not in our family. :) I'd definitely do AG if your girls are Princess fans, it's well worth it! :)
