After a short but restful nap, we get up to get ready for the big party.
This is our first Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party & we can not wait.
We have a 5:30PS at Crystal Palace. We head over there right away & get seated after just waiting for about 10 minutes or less.
We were not impressed too much with the choice of foods offered at Crystal Palace for supper, this was our first supper there & will probably be our last. We will stick with breakfast.
But the main reason we are there anyway is the characters.
We see Pooh right away. Then we waited & waited & waited some more....we were all done with our meal & still were waiting to see Piglet & Tigger (Eeyore came around when we were eating dessert)
Finally we see Piglet, autograph & Pictures. Then I realizze I only have one more picture left. So I quickly change it before Tigger gets over here. I just made it, threw the film in the camera bag & Tigger sits down.
After our visit with Tigger we leave to do some serious partying. We headed right to Tomorrowland. We walked right on to Buzz Lightyear! We check out the lines for the pictures....too long, we will get them later.
We head over to the Carssoul of Progess. No one in our family has ever been on that. We all enjoyed it. JUst a question, how come the dog never gets older????
Anyway after that my son is begging to ride TTA. So we again just walk right on to that. I don't know what it is about that ride but he loves it.
Afterwards we headed over to catch 'Twas the night before Christmas. That was a really good show!! We wanted to catch it again but never got around to it.
After the show we leave Tomorrowland, look at the picture lines, still too long, will check later......
We head off to Fantasyland. We walked onto pretty much everything. We did have to wait a bit for Peter Pan though.
We ran into all the 7 dwarfs posing for pictures!!! We never seen that before so we hop in line for that. We also saw Chip & Dale, Pluto & Santa Goofy posing for pictures, so we get all that done.
We headed to our favorite ride, the Haunted Manison! We rode that 3 times in a roll...told you it was our family's favorite. Luckily there was very little wait.
We check the picture line in Liberty Square...too long for us. We just don't feel like standing in lines tonight. We check the time & realize we better start heading over to Main Street to catch the Fireworks.
On the way we stopped for some cocoa & cookies (surprised there was NO line for that)
We hung around Main street for a bit. We watched the fireworks from near the hub area. It was perfect! WOW!!!!!!!
We then watch the 9:30 showing of Celebrate the Season in front of the castle. Wow!!!! Awesome show, not to be missed!!!! We actually loved it more then 'Twas the night before Christmas.
We then decided to find a spot for the parade. It was getting a little chilly BUT my son wanted ice cream!!!! (go figure) As we were sitting there I noticed I am missing a roll of film. I panic, thinking that the Cinderella Castle pictures are in there (later found out it was NOT that roll that I lost) DH & I started going through everything. No luck. Then I remembered changing the roll in Crystal Palace & Tigger sitting down & moving the camera bag out of the way. DH goes back to Crystal Palace. The place is closed but there were workers in there. They let DH in but no one had found a roll of film
They told us to call Central Lost and Found. We have but they didn't have anything. I was bummed, the whole roll I lost was with my son and characters. I am sure someone picked it up thinking it was theirs. I am just hoping once they develop it they would send it back to Disney & we MIGHT get the pictures back! I know...probably not going to happen!
The parade was AWESOME!!!! We really loved the Chrismtas parade. Everything about it was great! A+++++ And then the snow was falling. My son was surprised, he tried to catch the snowflakes in his mouth. He quickly found out Florida snow isn't the same as Minnesota snow!
After the parade we fought the crowd and went back up main street to get in one last ride of Winnie the Pooh, per my son's request.
We get there & was able to ride the Pooh ride & see one last showing for Mickey's Philharmagic.
After that we left Magic Kingdom & headed back to the Poly. It was a LONG day but very exciting.
