On our exit from Animagique the Genie and Jafar from Aladdin were wondering around animation courtyard. Jess had her picture taken with the genie but was very wary of Jafar.

Hannah convinced her Daddy they really needed ;) another ride on the flying carpets. We had passed on the tram tour the day before due to the rain so headed off to do this but on the way noticed that there was only a small queue at Mickey’s caravan. The girls headed down here and we had a wonderful time meeting Mickey. Jess went first and took his hands and got him to dance round in a circle with her. He then pretended he was dizzy and she covered her little mouth with her hand and said sorry and give him a big hug. It was just too cute (more tears in Mummy’s eyes and Daddy said he had a repetitive strain injury in his finger from taking so many pics).

It was then back to plan and off to the studio tour. Whilst waiting for this I saw a family (British) do something I thought was really –yuck. :confused3 They had their toddler pee in a potty in the queue and then poured it out on the ground. I couldn’t believe my eyes. There is a toilet about 2 minutes away from this attraction. What kind of toilet training is this encouraging the child to do and how unhygienic is it ?
Anyway ,I digress, from our tour. We all loved the tram ride although Hannah was a bit concerned in Catastrophe Canyon But Jessica being the ‘big girl (all of 2 weeks older) and veteran’ assured her that it was all okay. :rotfl2:
After our tour we headed back to the main park for lunch. Stopping only for another shot of Buzz on the way . We just had to as we were on our way to Pizza planet so it was perfect for getting us in the mood. We had a lovely lunch of Pizza’s and fresh fruit salads. I can recommend the Chicken Tikka Pizza – It may sound odd but tastes delicious-Mmm.
The girls really enjoyed the indoor playground too. :thumbsup2
The Blackie’s had still not seen the parade she we headed back to Main street (more stops at Buzz and Autopia on the way) and stood at the corner nearest Plaza Gardens . Hannah loved the parade and as she was right at the front she got her hand shook by a few of the characters much to her delight. princess:
It was then off to Frontierland – The boys wanted to go on Phantom Manor . I’d gone on myself last year so neither had been on before. They also convinced Jenny to join them but nearly had her running for the door before it even started by making up stories about what was about to happen. After this we had a pleasant walk through adventure isle . Kenny and Bruce went off to do Indiana Jones but Bruce came back early having decided it looked too adventurous for him. :rotfl: It was then back to our favourite land – Fantasy land. We got fastpasses (first of the holiday!) for Peter Pan and did the carousel and labyrinth whilst we waited for our time. Jess had fallen asleep in the buggy so we slowly headed back out of the park . Hannah , Jenny and I tried out Pinocchio and looked around the castle on the way out before we all headed for the rainforest café for dinner. This was the first time I had eaten there and I was very impressed. We’ll definitely be returning on a future visit. (So many restaurants –so little time !). The Daddies and girls then headed ‘home’ and Jenny and I hit the shops for some retail therapy :woohoo: before catching the last bus back to the resort to pack. :sad2:

Great report and photos. The interaction with Mickey brought a tear to my eye :)

Okay not to dwell on the subject of people's toilet behaviour, but who carrys a potty round a park with them

Oh I just love the photos of Jess and Mickey

You certainly had a lovely day. :)

How often are the shuttle buses to/from the Marriott?

Elaine

The buses are much less frequent than the other hotels which is a downside. There are only about 10 at the most a day.

There were about 5 over a two hour period in the morning (up to 11am) then one every two hours or so.

On the way back I'm not so sure of all the times but we either got the 18.30 , 20.25 or when we stayed shopping 21.45. I'm sure there was also a 16.30 too

We managed to fit in with them okay and you could hire their big taxi for 15€ a trip if you wanted outside these times. We used this on the last day to maximise time at the park.

Sounds like you had a great time.
The photos are fab but especially those of Jess and Mickey. I would have definately been crying at that point ::MickeyMo
