Very nice to have a note from you Sweetie. You looked absolutely gorgeous in your dance photos and it sounds as if you had a WONDERFUL time at the dance! I am so happy you were able to have a special time, with friends your age. Rachel LOVES to play the guitar, the two of you would have a great time together. I wish we lived near each other! Thank you Judy for the notes and gifs. Yes I wish you lived closer. I would love too meet Rachel in person I think we would be great freinds. I'm just learning to play guitar I dont know how to play it yet but I like learning songs by ear on the guitar. Like for my sisters 12th birthday party I learned the happy birthday song by ear on the guitar. I can't wait for Rachel to get her present. I'm excited to hear what she thinks. Now it just has to get here so I can write a note to go with it and mail it there.

Has your daughter been tested for Celiac disease? It's one of the most undiagnosed (but common) diseases that doctors don't look for. I have it and I had to PUSH to get tested for it.

Actually Jenna hasen't been tested for Celiac disease yet. The doctor on call at the children's hospital last week tested for several things based on her history and ruled them out. I am planning on asking about Celiac diesease at our next appt. Thank you for your concern and suggestion.

Thanks for the prayers. We are doing pretty good. John's had a tough few days pain wise but I know it could be oh so much worse (and it has been) so I am feeling grateful that it's at least not as bad as it could be. Jenna's finally started feeling better. Tessa and Jonnie are doing well and other than a bit of a headache today I am fine. My mom will be here to visit in six days which is a massive blessing in and of itself. So I'm excited for that, but I do need to get on the ball and get my house ready for her and the girls new bed up.

Sorry I've been MIA latley. There has been alot going on here (both good and bad) that has pretty much kept me off the DIS. Here'a a little preview of the good.

I'm sure you guys recognize my children but the woman with them is my mother. She has been in town for the last week. Before this I haden't seen her for a year and a half so that was definatley the best part of my week. As for the bad my family is doing okay despite more heartache than usual but right now I'm asking for prayers for all those I love who are enduring so much loss and tragedy this week. I will be back soon, for any who are still reading this, thanks for sticking with me.

Thank you so much for the adorable GIFs and Easter wishes. Things have improved. I feel a great deal of peace. Last week was tough but the joy of Easter prevailed even during the tough times.

So after our amazing meal at CRT we headed over to Toon Town. Tessa was desperate to meet a certain fairy, but first we decided to tour Mickey's house. Well the kids and I did, John decided it looked a a little too crowed and elected to stay outside. The kids and I however, enjoyed checking out Mickey's home. As we went through it became apparent to me that we were in a line for something but I had absolutley no idea what it was. I figured what the heck and we continued through the line. A cast member asked Jonnie to be a very important helper and carry something through the line to the cast member at the end of the line to determine how long the wait was. Jonniue was thrilled to be a helper and stayed calmer than usual in a fairly long line. Once we got to the end the kids got quite the surprise. Mickey and Minnie were there to greet us. Jenna was thrilled and proudly showed off her minnie figurine during her picture with her very favorite mouse.

and then we headed out to meet daddy who had no idea we were going to be gone that long. He was waiting for us right outside and after a quick bathroom break we decided to search out Fairy Hollow. It wasen't too hard to find and the kids amazed me by paying no attention to the gift shop but the sign posted at the front of the line said an hour and a half. There was no way Jonnie was going to make it through that line or John eigther for that matter so we showed a CM the GAC and were taken to an alternate waiting area. Honestly this was the longest wait we had anywhere even after using the GAC. 40 minutes later we were finally ready to meet some familiar fairies.

Tessa was in awe of Tink and imediatley declared herself Tink's biggest fan.

This is where we got another great character interaction. When Tessa told Tink she was her biggest fan Tink immediatley responded with "Well then I must be the first person you've met." Well, Tessa was honest and shared the stories of meeting Stich, Cinderella and a certain mouse couple. Tink acted offended and Tessa scrambled to prove to her that she was her favorite, declaring "My family made me, I would have come to see you first." It was hilarious. Once Tessa convinced Tink they got into a conversation about fairy's and Tink confided that we were all shrunk before we entered Fairy Hollow so we would fit and be the same size as our fairy friends. This interaction alone totally made up for the long wait. We had a great time meeting the fairies but it was getting late and we had somewhere to be. Next up a Goofy distraction, getting our ears and a parade of lights.

I was ECSTATIC to see an update, THANK YOU for doing this!!! I love all of the magic, the trips to the summer homes before they were destroyed. Tink and Tessa teasing, HOW SWEET!!!! I hope writing these memories and sharing brought some joy to you today!!!
