Hi all. We just checked into SSR this morning. We will be here from
Oct 18th-25th.
Cast
Myself: (33) Obsessed Disney Freak and planner. This is our third trip this year. I love this place. Will eat just about anything but fish (yuck).
DH: (33) Tolerates Disney for me but I think he is starting to grow fond of it after 17 years of me. Hates my obsessive planning so we do one park day and one rest day to satisfy him. Eats mostly everything but fish. Really loves pizza and steak.
DD (16) Very picky eater. I hate paying for her on the dining plan because all she eats is mac and cheese or grilled cheese.
DD best friend (15) Very good eater.
DS (7) Pretty picky but loves chicken fingers, quesadillas and pizza.
DS (4) My best eater of the group. He will at least try new things.
I will be reviewing as we go along so that I don't forget anything. Plus my kids are taking a nap so I am just enjoying some down time.
We are DVC members and purchased the dining plan. We also had groceries delieved to our room for breakfast.
We arrived early and our room was not ready yet so we decided to head over to Downtown Disney and eat at my favorite CS Wolfgang Puck Express. I love this place. I had Margaita Pizza and Creme Brulee (awesome). DH had cheese pizza (he loved it). DD had cheese pizza (loved it). DD best friend had chicken fingers and fries and said they were very good. DS cheese quesadillas they were very good I tried one and he loves them. DS (4) just shared with the rest of us. Sorry I have no pictures because my camera was in my suitcase and I had not recevied it from ME yet. IMO Wolfgang Puck is the best counter service in all of Disney.
We had planned on going to Wolfgang Puck Express for dinner but because we had time to kill, we went early so now we have nothing scheduled for dinner tonight. So, I call Disney Dining and got a ressie for Chef Mickey's for dinner. My boys cannot wait to see Mickey and the gang. I know it is not the best resturant and doesn't get great dinner reviews, but sometimes you gotta do it for the kids. We have not been there for dinner since our honeymoon many years ago. I will let you all know how it goes. I will check back later.
