DH just gave the go-ahead that if we can get X-mas presents kick started now, and get the bulk done, why don't we do CL at the BWI in November?

I knew I created a monster. But it was so nice... HELP!!

So you recommend it? I really think for the ease of what it provided us at BC (food, convenience, a feeling of homeyness) it was worth it for us. Is it true that all of the CL rooms at BWI are boardwalk view? EDITED: Nevermind, I see not all standard rooms CL face boardwalk, some are GV or PV . But still...Talk me into this!!

We had thought about doing a split stay for our trip to save enough money on the first part, to be able to upgrade to a savanna view at the AKL. The one thing that stopped us was the dining plan. Since they see each resort as a separate ressie, we would have had to had park tickets on both the AKL and CSR. Once we had to do that, it didn't give us any savings really.

That's what I've found when working out the cost. I even thought maybe two nights at one without dining, but it still didn't save much. I am back to looking at my hat full of slips of paper. Maybe I'll just draw one and let fate decide!

I think if you liked BC CL you will love BWI CL.

The CMs are super nice, the lounge is fairly large and well appointed, and the offerings are pretty good. The convenience factor is the best part for me. No walking down to the boardwalk just for a mug refill or whatever.

It is nice that you can get a BW view, but we had a GV that had a view that we loved of Spaceship Earth, the Eiffel Tower and Illuminations!

Now I'm wishing BWI was available for my dates.

Hey Dani! I was just thinking about you earlier today and almost posted a where's Dani? question.

Sorry about Daniel My DS7 just got his Dx earlier this year and things have been a MESS with him. It can be so frustrating trying to get everything under control. Luckily he does really well traveling, but home is a whole 'nother story though

Sorry about your trip too, but at least you have lots of time to plan and save!

Don't forget to take care of yourself too, ok?

I'm glad you finally have a Dx. It makes the path a bit clearer.
I have my own daily therapy sessions with a bottle of wine and text sessions with Melissa! She keeps me sane. Having someone to vent to, who deals with the same daily struggles is better than any therapist I've ever been to! I also have my weekly text sessions with Christine. My RC friends are the best support group going!

I have us at AoA for Jan at end of family trip but that will change a few times for sure!

In the meantime I have cancelled for October. We will postpone until next year when he is better stabilized and I don't have to worry so much about his outbursts. I'm looking at August next year. Still a year away.

jenny I know we love the BWI ( I am excited about trying CL ) and while I'm hopeing for a BW View the pics I have seen of Garden View are awesome and the lounge is beautiful too.

I would much rather have him on the right track than to go back before he's ready and have a repeat of our June trip. What a nightmare.

Dani, sounds like a good plan with waiting it out with Daniel's new course of treatments and therapists. Praying that it all comes together for you and your beautiful family.

Still doing the TA thing, and just signed on to sell even more destinations with other vendors! I am looking forward to a possible cruise on Princess or Norwegian next year!

1 week .... 7 days .... count 'em 7 days and I'll be leaving on a jet plane!!!

Just got notification that my Magic Bands will be arriving by 10:30 am today.

Also email from Costco that my water is shipping today.

DH and DD are doing the last minutes packing up the apartment and driving the moving truck from So Cal to Nor Cal tomorrow. DD's last class is tonight but she still has 2 papers to write by next Tuesday.

So far no ME mail for my latest resort add on .... but that's a piece of cake to handle.

I'm SO READY!!! Well except for packing .....

Also with 6 digit code from cheaptickets my res loaded right into my experiences , easy peasy

Dates are 11/8-11 at GF and heading to F&W before its over!

It is kind of cute dh and I spent one night each at CR and Poly and grand anniversary finale is at Gf

Amazing planning a trip helps take away the sting of dd leaving in 2 days for college. At least she can drive home in 4 hours. Going to Buffalo if any you ladies in that area.

Before I can start packing I need to get DD up here, her stuff put in storage and then settled in here .... I can only stand just so much disorganization at once!

Since we are staying DVC I have 4 adults on the reservation .... just in case. But since so far just DD and I are going I customized 2 for each of us. DD is a huge Oakland A fan so she's getting green and yellow. I ordered red and pink for me.

Thanks Sheila Yep I had a great birthday. Brian made fun because I never got out of my PJs and spent the evening catching up on MasterChef and drinking slushies (premade Lemonade...tastes like Grey Goose at Epcot) But it was with my babies and it was awesome!! Oh, and we planned our trip our family trip. Brian initially OK'd Nov (yep 76 days from now) I booked, but soon cancelled. I need to save for Xmas..we are back to summer, and my 40th Birthday party..resort of the day..WL

Thanks! And we've discussed it, but it seems like it would be an issue if we do the dining plan, and now that they have these new RFID mugs...I'm just not sure. I've priced a couple of options but haven't found any that really work for us. Maybe I'll keep trying.

Taking the kids to Ocean City, Wildwood, Atlantic City, Cape May...squeezing a whole summer's activities into a week and a half! lol
