Our little thread of BIG Resort changes*OLD THREAD link on last pg. to new thread!

That's because I've been either working or on hold with CRO. No changes to my June VGF trip, just seeing if I could afford a winter trip..not this year

I'm sorry a winter trip is not in the cards this year.

It's quiet, too quiet :grouphug:

It's so quiet that I am going to go do the dishes.

Also, looks like I have another job in addition to working at my friend's in home day care. The woman, that lives next door to my friend, has an in home day care of her own. Unlike my friend, she takes school age kids. I only have to pick up 3 - 5 kids per week, and I'm only going to charge them $10 a week since it's a mile round trip.

Just talked to the TA it's official we have changed our date to oct 1-12,2014 business class at CSR can't wait but it is a week closer than it was.:rotfl2:

WOO HOO!! A week early is always good.

Well, all it took to end my nice quiet day was a call from the DH. I'm off, in the heat (ewww) to get a new tire for the minivan, the oil changed, and the inspection done. WOo hoo!! Can you feel my excitement.:crazy2:

SO behind! But doing laundry and the pool is closed due to weather SO...plenty of time for a quick update. :-)

DS had his pirate cruise at GF this morning and now he and DD are napping with DH while I do laundry. Then it's on to Le Cellier for dinner and boat to HS for EMH. DS does NOT want to do Rock n Roller Coaster again, but DH and I both got to go on it yesterday with the rider swap ticket. Went to MK after a brief stop at the Poly to shower and had dinner at Tony's Town Square. :-) stayed at MK until about midnight. did Buzz, Speedway, Dumbo/Barnstormer, and 2 times on Big Thunder Mountain Railroad in a matter of a couple of hours!

Sounds like you are having a great time!!! Sorry the weather isn't cooperating this afternoon, but I am sure the nap is needed :)

Krystal sounds like your getting a lot done! Best thing about going to Disney now just as. Couple No more Laundry runs :rotfl2:

Well a few CL rooms are on the 3rd Floor with the majority on the 4th floor where the lounge is located. 3 of the rooms located on the 4th floor are outside of the key access lounge door.

So I think I am going to request BW View, 4th floor and cross my fingers and toes :rotfl:

50/50 or a little less of getting a BW View

I decided against the Deluxe even if it opens up too much $$$

Ah-HA! Thanks for the explanation, Sheila. I'd been wondering what the deal was with CL rooms. That lounge looks so nice... and spacious. :thumbsup2

Totally agree on not doing Deluxe -- more money for F&W nibbles! ::yes::

Wookie: (My quote for you went POOF!) Love that pic of JM, he's such a photogenic kid! Smart idea about having removable stitching for the applique. :goodvibes

Melissa:  Sendin' ya "get better d$%"it ankle" vibes.

I dunno, ol' pal... you always have a way of surprising us. (I'll shower you with optimism.) pixiedust:

It's all good Kim, I could probably swing CSR BC (I came sooo close to booking) but my VGF trip is cha-ching, so I'd rather have the extra couple thousand. This booking 2 rooms is expensive:sad:

Agreed Sheila  However, I would totally split mine with you!!!

Thanks Jen  I am off today! We had an ice cream for lunch party...I'm such a bad influence:p

My kids were great on the trip, HRH has an eval Wednesday...she's also in a mean stage

Jeanette - glad you actually have a day off! Ice cream for lunch sounds perfect! I hear you on the two trips, I love Disney at holiday time, but i'm making the decision to spend the money to stay the week at BLT, can't do both :( especially with December being so expensive and for you with two rooms, forget it.

As for the girls, I just can't handle it anymore. Sarah is in her room for the night. It is so sad that she is 100 times more difficult than Steven. I am numb at this point, just can't even handle the emotional roller coaster with her. Happy Hour is starting early tonight.

Took my mom and dad 2 years ago and dad says best memory is riding BTM and SM in the dark. My ds didn't like rr either when younger so dd and I would ride twice and make dh take him to "bugs life" playground( they changed name I can't remember it!)

Sounds like some good memories are getting made:cool1:

:badpc::sad: Ok, right when I was poised to make a change, system is down until tomorrow afternoon! UGH!!

Melissa: So sorry she is giving you a hard time. It could be girls in general, sometimes mine have me in tears with their moods and back talking and screaming fits. We can only try to do our best right? :grouphug: hang in there mom.

Hi Sheila,

I have been reading about your CL room request at BWI. Did you reserve a deluxe CL room (they are 600+square feet) or a Standard CL room?
If you reserved a CL Standard, they are all on the 4th floor, as far as I know. (Our Kooktastic BWI expert could tell us for sure when she returns from her vacation.)
The Deluxe CL rooms I know for certain are on the 3rd and 4th floor.

Hope this helps! You're going to love BWI! :goodvibes

Sounds like a great time!! Le Cellier....:cloud9: I wouldn't even have to look at the menu. I would get the Cheddar Cheese soup, the Mushroom Filet, and the kids chocolate "Moose".

Jeanette we both need to buy winning lottery tickets!

oooo, me too!!

wookie More money for Disney :cool1:

Very true. Plus more money to start saving for the epic 20th wedding anniversary trip I want to take. Maybe I'll even be able to save up for 1st class air fare.....doubt it, but who can blame a girl for dreaming.

Wookie: (My quote for you went POOF!) Love that pic of JM, he's such a photogenic kid! Smart idea about having removable stitching for the applique. :goodvibes

Thank you. that was back when his hair was a little longer than it is now.

I'll probably do a permanent stitch on mine, since I would be willing to wear it again. Heck I might take DH's t-shirt and just keep it as a Halloween nightshirt.

Husband is back. Phew. :faint: We leave on a little trip back east in 2 days. :hyper:

Glad the DH made it back home.

Wookie: I loved that picture! Glad you are back!

Thank you

If we had to book two rooms, there is no way we would be going back in September.

Ah yes, the excitement...but it's all for a good cause WDW :drive:

Very true, but now the fil has me paranoid. We only planned on buying one tire. Well turns on, whoever had this minivan before us, put the wrong size tires on it and the dealership eith didn't notice or ignored it. Discount Tires wouldn't let me buy the size that is on it and would only let me buy what the manufacturer recommends. This means that I have one tire that is an inch bigger than the other three. We just didn't have the money today (according to the DH) to buy the other three. Any way, just the one tire, with a warranty was $190. I almost :faint:

 I hope tomorrow is a better day. The mil had a bad day, so I forced her to have a happy hour tonight. They buy these drinks that come in plastic pouches that you freeze, most of them are like margaritas. The one she bought was called "Blue Hawaiian". As she was in tears, explaining her frustration to the fil, I told her "I am getting you this drink, you will stay away from the office, relax, and drink it."

We got some very interesting mail today. I not only got Mickey Mail, but my DH got a letter from our Congressman. The DH had called the Congressman's office expressing some concerns about the Healthcare Act, and the letter was addressing those concerns. It wasn't a generic form letter, but actually addressed my DH's specific concerns. I was really impressed that he took the time to (more than likely) dictate the letter to someone. Well I was a little less impressed after I read the letter and found several mistakes in it that just about drove me nuts. My grammar isn't the best, and if I could notice them, they were bad ones.

I'm trying to decide if I should text my sister again, teasing her about staying in a haunted hotel. She's in LA for work and is staying at the Biltmore. I keep trying to get her to try and get me a picture of The Black Dahlia's ghost (that supposedly haunts the hotel), but she doesn't see the humor in it.

I work tomorrow and Thursday at the friend's day care, but will hopefully find time to stop by and say hello. For now, nighty night lovelies

I booked the Std CL the Dxl is not available for our dates, I checked agin this morning even though I have already told myself I will be happy with the Std.

I did email IPO with my requests of BW View and 4th floor. I heard back and she did say most of the Std CL are on the 4th floor in her reply but she still noted it on my ressie :rotfl2:

We stayed at BWI last March and Our Nov/Dec trip and we did fall in love with the resort. I think we found our "Home"

It is weird I feel so much happier now that I changed from the Poly. BWI is perfect for us being near our favorite park (Epcot) being able to walk or boat and great food choices. :goodvibes

And truth be known I like the decor and the themeing at BWI than at the Poly.

I'm Happy! :yay:
