Jeanette Love the change to BC. There is no perfect resort but I am bias to the Epcot Resorts. The Mods interest me but not so much since they are all bus and the monorail resorts pull on me hard but just yesterday was reading about another monorail delay which is my concern if staying and paying big $$$ ya know.

Walk or Boat what can be better than that? Nothing!

Exactly!!! I considered GF, but nothing beats the walk from Epcot! And the bus from MK to YC was faster than our monorail ride from MK to Poly after MVMCP

Great change!! Convenience to HS and Epcot, and the bonus of SAB!

Very close to booking YC CL, but I couldn't justify the extra $$$ or could I

Finalizing my trip plans, ordered our park tickets from UT yesterday and made reservations at the airport hotel for the night before our flight down $134 +tax incl 10 days of parking and made the reservation for the night we return, taking a late flight 9pm $99 +tax.

Planning on reserving my ECV today, Bob said hold up on one for him, if he needs it blah blah blah Same as last year

Not going to stress over it now or once there either I will just do my own thing and he can eat my dust!

Need to make a reservation for Bella too at the kennel, then I think I am done

So that is my vent of the day.

Jeanette: Ok, I do love that you are at the Beach Club now, much better transportation and that means less stress right? I spoke a bit too soon about DD's bully, she confronted DD yesterday at breaktime. But not to worry I am going to put a quick stop to it this year. I also have some of my lunchbreak supervisor friends on it too.

Ugh, that stinks...all the neighborhood moms were complaining about the teachers, scools, etc....we really need to start our RC compound!!

Pas - love the BC booking!! That has been by far my family's favorite (but we still have a lot to try). Did I miss how on earth you managed to take a trip without the girls? My kids are ready to kill us because we are going without them. DD said yesterday that this is the first year she is missing in 5 years I want DH to go back during her fall break but he isn't hearing me on it. Yesterday I told him I wanted to buy DVC and you should have seen the look I got! LOL He did say, why can't we just go when we want and pay for it then.

So I really like FW carriage ride! Sounds neat!

The girls think the boys deserve a trip, it's their turn...my kids are so awesome I wish everyone was as honest and unselfish as my kiddos!

Another time was in middle school and this boy constantly pushed and shoved my DS, I finally told Shawn just punch him back, he did and got suspended and the principal said it did not matter who started it etc etc the policy was to suspend anyone fighting.

Like my tude eh? Lol I am just so fed up with the stubbornness of that man!

My oldest had an issue like that, I told him to stand up for himself, and he did...1 week suspension but I didn't punish him...the kid was HUGE esp. compared to my 5'7" son. DS12 isn't the type to fight back, and I am less than pleased with how schools handle these bullies....we need to infuse these kids with MamaStrength

Pas: WOOOOOOOOOOOOOO! When is this trip scheduled? I'm already lost with all the changes... though I have to say, I really LOVE the latest.

Sheila: "Eat my Dust" ... we need to get you a shirt with that on the back; I would say with "The S.o.B" on the front but Disney might not appreciate the joke like we would.

All this GF tea talk! Wonder if those scones are like what they serve in the tea room? Those were given the Official Englishmen's Seal of Approval and the clotted cream with jam, that's seriously the bees' knees.

Thanks to all who asked about Miss M and the latest classroom shenanigans. Not sure if my letter to the principal regarding the original placement had any bearing but she was spared another upheaval. Phew. Hoping some of the new friends she's made haven't been moved to this new class. It was all very silly of me to worry about. She's such a sensitive thing. (Must get that from her daddy.)

AKL, that's on the radar for us ... albeit a slight blip. Asked what they'd like to do resort-wise for January as right now we've got flights but no hotel. A bit backward, eh? Kiddo mentioned AKL but I just can't drag myself away from the Epcot area love. BC is in the lead for January so far.

So, do I call to ask about CL???

But, of course! And you could always check on BWI-CL whilst you've got them on the line.

[For us, I don't think we'd do BC-CL again but I'd totally be up for trying BWI, YC (although I know it's pretty much the same except the lounge is nicer i.e., bigger/spread-out-able) even ... or AKL. Darn that AKL for popping up in my head every time. Silly busses. ]

PAS WOW! Congrats on your change to BC!! soo exciting that you are joining us, I am happy to be anyone's inspiration Yes, you are lucky you are muuuuch closer than me, if I lived in the states I'd have a much bigger addiction to try and tide over, so many flight options!

I am booked at a royal room at POR on the 4th, a tad scared because Christine just told me about those POP Warner kids! EEK! I hope it's not mass pandemonium after the 5th! but I can't afford to go somewhere else, I would have loved BWI Deluxe room My POR rate was with the DEC discount, $252, and I'm splitting the cost with Rosie, so it'll be doable... but I will sure miss the Deluxe conveniences. I am excited to try a MOD though because when ever will I get another opportunity to try one? My family does deluxe, and so do I when the price is right, unfortunately not the case for me right now!

I loved all the first day of school pics! My trip is in less than a month. Still no Magic Bands (darnit!) and I am working with Travelocity to fix my WL reservation from one adult to two adults. It is a PITA but that is what I get for saving money (and I would do it again because I love a good deal!)

So I am wondering if my girlfriends and I should do tea at the GF after our spa treatments? Can't decide if we would like that better or just going back to the pool.

Has anyone eaten at the Territory lounge at WL? I am thinking DH and I might make a light meal of that on our first night. Then we might take the monorail to the Poly to watch Hallowishes from the beach. I am also considering a carriage or horseback ride at FW.

Ohhh spa treatments and tea LOVE the sound of that!

I really enjoy the mods. We have done CBR and would do it again in a heartbeat, although I know it isn't everyone's cup of tea. For us, it's like Poly Lite

We love our Queen! You are right where you need to STAY! We're going to confiscate that phone for future potential changes. Besides, you need to stay there because I need some pics of those scones.

I was surprised at how many people on my FB page couldn't believe how much luggage we were taking. It's only one bag per person.

I plan on trying to check in, but I don't know how to post pictures from my iPhone to the DIS. If someone would move them over, I could post some pics on the FB page.

Youngest DD just had her meet and greet with her SK teacher. She is one of the ones I was hoping she would get so I am happy. Very sweet lady. Now I just have to entertain the little one until she really starts school on September 16!!

I'm glad your happy with her teacher. I can't believe how late your school starts. When do you get out at the end of the year?

I kept thinking that all day today. That was the thought that kept me from slapping a mom today. Her two year old woke up crying, which is not like him. Then he didn't want to eat snack and actually cried when I asked him if he wanted to eat a cupcake. Then he laid down on the couch and acted like he was going to fall asleep, so I felt him and he was hot. Without adding a degree, and taking it under the arm, he had a 103.1. When my friend called the dad, he told her that the little boy felt warm this morning, but they gave him Tylenol and sent him anyway. The mom showed up a few minutes later, which meant she was at home down the street instead of at work 30 minutes away. When my friend's daughter said she was said that they were leaving the woman said, "it's ok, he'll be back tomorrow". This is when I kept chanting "2 more days, 2 more days" in my head to keep me from telling her off and slapping her.

Well I'm off to make dinner.

Quick announcement, was just told by DH that he has a conference in Orlando Sept 27-28 and told me to come and take the kids to the parks. I believe Candace and Ginny are there then????
