Our lastest trip. So good we may buy into DVC.

12 Days of fun.. What a trip!! Dec 31 - Jan 12 2005
Anyway about the trip... This was our second stay at the beach club. The view was good, not the best, but good. If you stuck you head out you could watch the fireworks.
My mothers room was right next store. That was good. We should have left her at home. She slowed us down a bit. (I shouldn't have said that) The pool is awsome. The weather was great! We spent time in the pool. A day in Epcot, A day at blizzard beach. An hour or so in MGM. Then the cruise. It was as I remembered, great food, great fun, too much to do and not enough hours in a day. As everything at WDW.

One great highlight I would like to share. Just after the disney dreams show (A great show our 2nd time) we went to the gift shop to do a little shopping. While standing there I heard an announcement for bingo in the theatre very close to us. I ask my wife. "want to play some bingo?" sure. she replied.

As we were playing I was missing numbers not being a bingo pro. So I handing my card to my wife and watched the little one. During the final jackpot round the caller says anyone that only needs one number stand. To my disbelief my wife stood up. After a few more numbers were called a few more people stood up. Then they called the number. I16 "BINGO SHE SCREAMED." JUMPING UP AND DOWN. Then came the time to verify the numbers. This was blackout bingo, the whole page and I did part of the card. My stomach started to ache as they checked the card. What if I messed up the card I thought to myself. Well It was good and we won $2300. That was very cool.
Not having any clue about it we walked in and ended up winning the FINAL JACKPOT.....

CONGRATULATIONS!!!!

That's the way to take a vacation. When I was 5 months pregnant with my 13 year old DS my ex and I went on a four day cruise to Mexico and I won $500.00 the last day playing Bingo. I had so much fun baby shopping when I got home.

what's the approx cost to become a DVC Member?

To purchase 150 points at Saratoga Springs Resort (the only resort currently being actively sold through the Disney Vacation Club and the minimum number of points sold to non-members by DVC) will cost about $14250. There may be incentives available to new buyers that will effectively reduce that cost. Resales are available as well. Cruise on over to the DVC board and check things out. Alternatively, the DVC Information Website has a wealth of information and you can request more info from DVC itself.

If you are earning your ears don't forget about the CM discount for DVC too.
I wish I had that CM discount. I own 270 points and it was the best thing I ever did, but I never have enough points to get me through the year, I always have to borrow into the next year. Peggie
