My Dh just told me that he thinks we should give Disney a "break" and try some other places next year. What? There are other places to visit?? He said we could come back in 5-6 years, when Athena can "truly" enjoy it. So, since this is our last time for awhile, I want to try every restaurant I possibly can. Here is what we have planned so far. What other places would you recommend we do? We like any kind of food. Nothing fancy though...will have a 13 month old with us! We will be there for 11 days and will probably eat dinner out every night.

Chef Mickeys- Br
Kona Cafe- Lu
O'hana's - Di
Beirgarten- Di
Sci-Fi- Lu

Try 50's Prime Time !!

The food is great, and if you don't want to play along, just let your server know. They're usually pretty good about it.

The menu is 'comfort food'. Pot roast, fried chicken, chicken noodle soup, S'mores on the dessert menu, and PB&J shakes.

Just a thought.......

sheesh you left it so wide open...ok just have to eat at...

the Hoop Dee Doo Revue
Sci-fi dine in
cape may cafe for dinner
Whispering canyon, love breakfast, like dinner
Liberty Tree Tavern
Pecos Bills (counter service)

Okay, travelling with a 13 month old makes my mind up a bit easier.....I would hold off on Hoop-de-doo until you all can experience it and have a hoot the first go round- a 13 month old won't quite enjoy all the fun.
11 days......
Forgot where you're staying but
Day one....Pick a local restaurant so you don't have to waste a ticket- if you have UPH then do Chef Mickey's to get you in the mood.
Day two.....Liberty Tavern- atleast your baby will get some veggies
Day three....50's PrimeTime (I think Sci-Fi would be too dark/scary for a baby)
Day four.....Le Cellier (Canada Epcot)
Day five......'Ohanas
Day six......Mama Melroses- fun italian- let her get all messy with spaghetti
Day seven.....MK Cinderella's Castle- lots of fun to eat in the castle
Day eight......Rain Forest Cafe- she'll delight in all the animals and rain
Day nine.....Brown Derby- if you plan on doing fantasmic- you can eat and get good seats.
Day ten.....Coral Reef- cool fishes swimming around
Day eleven.....a character meal- she's pretty cheap at this age- take advantage of it! :)

ENJOY!!!!

My kids loved Garden Grill in the Land at Epcot. They have family style buffet that was great. The restaurant rotates (very slowly) thru the scenes from the boat ride. We saw Mickey, Pluto, Chip and Dale. Wonderful interaction and not too crazy.

You have got to try Boma or Jiko at AKL. Boma is a buffet and Jiko is an upscale sit down restaurant. They both have delicious food and are worth trying.

Don't forget Donald's Breakfastaurus at Animal Kingdom. There is great character interaction and your standard buffet breakfast. Your little one might enjoy the characters here.

Best of luck in whatever you decide!

Boma! Amazing food!

Also try Le Cellier.

And did I mention BOMA?;)
