Let's think of some ideas that our kids should invent so that they would become rich and we could live in the lifestyle we would like to become accustomed to!

Our kids should invent..... a wireless lamp - that can be placed anywhere in a room and receive a signal from the light switch to turn it off and on.

My kids were supposed to invent an automatic cattle feeder on a timer by now! They got too busy as they got older and they knew Dad would feed their 4H steers if they didn't make it home in time!

That wouldn't be too hard. You just need a timer and a hinge. You could time it to release a pre measured amount of whatever it is you are feeding them.

That wouldn't be too hard. You just need a timer and a hinge. You could time it to release a pre measured amount of whatever it is you are feeding them.

Yeah, that's what I thought, too. If you set up a conveyor belt-type system, with each section holding the pre-measured grain, and it would move at a preset time to dump the grain down into a feeder/trough. It sounds easy enough....

When one of the grocery stores in town was building a new building I suggested this feature to them. They did put in a drive-up pharmacy window which is nice but I suggested a window where you could pick up milk, bread and other essentials or you could call in a pre-order and they would have it ready for you in the drive thru. They didn't do that either.

My brother always said they should have self steering cars. You could program in where you wanted to go and it would take you there. You could sit back and read, talk on the phone, take a nap.

They are trying these out in Japan. They are like giant snack machines. You just pick out what you want, press the number, slide your credit card, and it gives it to you. I saw it on TV.
