DAY FOUR - Tues. 7/18/06

Ate quick muffins in the room again and headed to EPCOT. Got our FPs for Soarin’, then headed to Journey...no wait at all...this ride will never recover from their attempts to “improve” it...just bring back Dreamfinder and Figment :figment: and no one will get hurt....anyway....Zipped over for FPs for MS, then headed back to Soarin’. As we approached our “loading” zone, DD20 asked the CM if we could have the front row....she snapped back “No, already taken” and we took our spots. A few minutes later, CM came over to us and said we could have the front row on the very next ride. She said to just go on the ride this time, then when everyone else exited, just move up to the front row. I guess she felt bad about snapping at us...who knows....but we rode Soarin’ twice in a row! :cool1: Loved the smell of pine and oranges...those oranges brought me back to the good old Horizon days.

We did the single rider line for TT with a short wait....I think we all agreed that we’d rather wait in line or get FP so we can do all future rides together. It’s just not as fun for us otherwise. It was now time for our MS FPs. DH and both DD’s did the brave version of MS...I did the wimpy one  ...and frankly, once was enough for me. I didn’t have any problems with it, but I just didn’t see any point in going on it again..wasn’t crazy about the close quarters, and I knew I couldn’t take the wild version. They, on the other hand, LOVED this ride. :jumping1:

We had lunch today at Alfredo’s in Italy. We were supposed to have this lunch on Sunday, but since I was in the hospital, DD20 got us a new ADR for today. We really enjoyed this lunch and wouldn’t hesitate to go back. On our way out of the park, we found the girls’ Leave a Legacy tile that we’d purchased on our last trip in 2002. That was kind of cool, though I still think that entire area looks like a cemetery.

The girls wanted to do Disney Quest, so we headed over there for a while. It was pretty crowded. We stood in line for the Pirates thing, which was pretty cool. The girls wanted to do the roller coaster thing, so DH and I headed up to the arcade where we played all of the video games from the 80's.... ahh..the good old days.

Ran back to Pop to rest for a bit and get cleaned up, then it was back to EPCOT for our ADR at LeCellier and EMH night. I’ll do more detailed food reviews in that forum, but.... yummmmm.....we were stuffed like pigs!!! ::yes:: We walked around the WS for quite a while and did some shopping (now that our girls are older, we actually spent a lot more time in the WS than we had on previous trips...plus its nice and cool at night), did the American Adventure and as we were leaving that, the CM said it was about to storm  . We donned our trusty ponchos, but despite the thunder and lightening, it never did more than drizzle a bit. DD’s did MS again with only a short wait while DH and I shopped a bit....DH was feeling too full still to attempt MS. We did TT, then headed back to Pop.

Another great day in the books..why do vacation days always pass soooo much faster than work days?????? :scratchin

I love SOaring and would do that over and over again too. Sounds like your day was full and so were the bellies.....I love le Cellier and could eat all my meals there.....thanks again

This day's lesson:

It never hurts to ask! Sometimes you might be able to ride Soarin' twice in a row!

I'm going to try and ask to be in the front row. Don't they have a line where you can get in to be at the front?

I didn't see a separate line for "front row" on Soarin', but then again, I didn't look. Just ask...you may have to wait a little bit, but I can't imagine it being a problem...and who knows...you may even luck out like we did and get to ride back to back!! :Pinkbounc

That would be really cool if we could, but I am going to ask and see what happens.
