Ahhhhhh! Tell me about the Cinderella slipper dessert please! Was it the one made of chocolate with chocolate mousse inside and fruit??? Did you have it for lunch or dinner? I have read about a special dessert just this past Saturday in our local paper and have been craving it!! I might have to change my ADR from breakfast to lunch or dinner if I can:)
Great report and congrats to both of you!

The Cinderella slipper was made out of white chocolate and inside it had chocolate mouse. It was sitting on top of some sort of cookie/cake which was delicious and on the side it had all sorts of berries. I had it for dinner but I think you can order it for lunch. What you have to do is call Disney and ask them for the direct number to CRT. Call CRT and ask to speak with a manager and tell her that you wish to special order this dessert. They will get all the details and will have it ready for you. If I'm not mistaken it costs about $10.

Congratulations and thanks for this great trip report!

Can I ask you when you made your golf reservations and when you received the voucher for the free cab ride? Did they give it to you at check in or mail it to you?

We made golf reservations about three months before our trip. The cab voucher we got the day we were going to play golf at the service desk (where they take care of your luggage). We really didn't know they did this and we actually called them so we could get a cab and when they asked where we were going they told us to come down to the lobby and they would give us a voucher and call a cab.

Today is Animal Kingdom day. The only time I’ve been to Animal Kingdom, I went with my mom and brother and they weren’t thrilled by it but I liked it; I thought it was cute. My husband was really looking forward to checking it out but of course we got up early and therefore got a really late start. Since we were both hungry, we decided to make the walk to the food court which of course took a whole 12 minutes! We ate breakfast there, walked to the Custom House because we needed to pick up our Hoop de Doo tickets and then walked to the nearest bus station. Whoa! I get tired just thinking about it. Anyway, we get on the bus and we go. We finally got there at around 11:30a.m. and I was not a happy camper. We wasted a whole morning! But anyway, as soon as we were walking in, we got stopped by Photopass people to take pictures. Since we didn’t mind, we posed and smiled and then kept going.

First thing we did was A Bug’s Life. Let me say that seeing the Tree of Life up close is truly amazing. It is so cool to see all the detail that went into those carvings. A Bug’s Life was great, we loved it and my husband had a great time. And guess who I found:

We left and began just walking around the park. Since my husband had no clue where he was going we ended up in Asia. He didn’t want to get wet again (remember Splash Mountain) so we didn’t do Kali. We took some pictures with Everest in the background and they were testing it out with empty trains.

It really looks awesome and I can’t wait to ride it! We saw the little boat with all the characters cruising around so we waved and took some pictures of that. We continued walking and ended up in Dinoland. My husband won me two little dinosaurs while we were there and we also decided to ride Primeval Wave. As we were walking right now, one side of the ride broke down so we were sent to the other side. The line moved quickly and before we knew it the ride was over. It was cute and we enjoyed ourselves. We then went to Dinosaur, it was only a 10 minute wait so we really just went right in. I love this ride, it is so much fun. Somewhere along the way in this ride I lost my honeymoon button that I had gotten at MGM and at the same time the ride stopped for like 30 seconds, could it have been because of my button falling? I hope not. After laughing about it and stopping at the store to buy a snack, we stopped to see a show that they were putting on around the area. It was three guys that did some amazing juggling and other pretty interesting stuff. We wanted them for a while and it was quiet entertaining. My husband wanted to check out Maharajah Jungle Trek so we walked that after we made our wait to Africa. It was interesting, but nothing too exciting. We excited and decided to ride Kilimanjaro Safari which had a 5 minute wait. We had a great time doing this and my husband seemed amazed at what Disney had done. We were lucky that a lot of the animals we out and about that day (it was about 2:15p.m.) so it was a lot of fun being able to experience it.

We quickly did Pangani Forest Trail but then decided to leave and walk to the Lion King Show (my favorite!). On our way, we saw Chip and Dale and of course we had to take pictures with them (well at least I did). They were so cute and funny!

95379Picture_065.jpg

We finally made it to Lion King and we sat in the lion section (same section I sit in every time I go). The show was great as usual, I only wish I could have been sitting closer, I really wanted first row.

It was already 3:30p.m. so we made our way to find a good location for the parade. I found my perfect spot with a perfect view and saved our seats while my husband looked for snacks (he came back empty handed). The parade was great, we were up front so once again a lot of the characters came by and shook our hands and looked at my ring and gave my husband a thumbs up. I really loved the parades this time, I guess because I got so much attention. I felt like a little kid when Goofy or Mickey waved and pointed at me. It was like the whole parade was just for me. How cheesy but it’s true. I guess it’s the magic of Disney; being able to feel like a kid again, with no worries and not wondering what others are thinking about you.

The parade was awesome but we needed to make our way out of the park. That was fairly easy but I spotted Goofy and Mickey coming to the front of the park to take pictures. I ran to the line (there wasn’t one) and got my pictures with Goofy and Mickey (again!). This time Mickey tried to “steal me” away and I told him I would marry him in a heartbeat.

We then ran to the bus stop to catch the bus to Wilderness Lodge since tonight was Hoop de Doo night. Bad luck! As soon as I got there, a bus was pulling out. Oh well, I guess we’ll have to wait. It was already 4:45 and Hoop de Doo started at 5:00p.m. Needless to say, we were late. The bus finally came but took forever and when we finally made it we had to take the internal bus shuttle. The bus driver though was really nice and when he asked us if we were going to HDD he said “I better step on it” and he did. We quickly got there and were immediately escorted inside. We had table 13 and we thought we were all the way in the back. Wrong! Front and center! The host told us “congratulations, number 13 is the lucky number here at HDD”. As soon as we were seated, our waitress took our drink orders, brought our salads and bread (yummy!) and immediately the show began. It really felt like they were waiting for us (which I’m sure they weren’t!). The show began and we had a fantastic fun. I didn’t know I could laugh so hard! The actors messed with us so much that it felt like we were part of the show. People were laughing at us and with us. We even had to get up and dance.

95379Picture_008.jpg

It was an amazing evening and we’ll definitely be going back to HDD. After the show (we were sad it was over) we grabbed a bus to MGM and then the bus to CBR. We were quickly back in our room with just enough time to get ready for Cirque de Soleil. Wow, we were busy bees tonight! We took the Downtown Disney bus and quickly found Cirque. We got seated (this place was packed!) and really enjoyed the show. I must say though, it was a little creepy, I thought I was going to have a nightmare but I survived. Some of the stuff they do there is truly amazing, there are no words to describe it! Cirque was over and we made our way to the bus stop…wrong idea! There was at least 50 high school kids waiting, maybe even more! It was really scary; so loud, annoying…ahhh (I sound like a 50 year old and I’m only a few years older that those kids but oh my goodness, I couldn’t take it). We decided we didn’t want to wait for a bus there so we walked all the way back to Marketplace and immediately found our bus there. We were back at the hotel, exhausted from a long day, and went to bed to get ready for our last official day at Epcot!

:thumbsup2 loving the reports! You make such a cute couple! :wizard: Congratulations!

Our last official day at Disney World and we woke up to the sound of the alarm clock at 10a.m.! 10:30a.m.? Whoa, I guess I forgot how big Epcot is! We rushed to get ready and finally were good to go by 11:15. We went to the bus stop and our bus quickly came, which was a good thing because we had lunch reservations for 11:50a.m. at Le Cellier. We got to Epcot (so beautiful!) and make our way in. We of course had to get tons of photopass pictures taken so we smiled and posed and kissed and then kept going.

We were at Le Cellier by 11:50 on the dot and were immediately seated. Having steak at this time of the day though was really strange but it was still soo good. My husband had the shrimp for an appetizer and I had something else which I cannot recall at the moment, I just remember it was really good. We had our wonderful lunch and by the time we got there the place was packed. We mad our way back to the front to the start the park all over again and first thing we did was ride Spaceship Earth. That is a classic in my book so I have to ride it every time. We then ran to get our Fastpass for Soaring and we got it with a return time of 4:45p.m. Since we had some time to waste, we did Honey I Shrunk the Audience, downloaded our pictures on a disk, rode Figment (which was cute), talked with Crush, saw some fish and ate a snack. Finally, it was time for Soarin. Before Soarin though we got our Fastpass for Living with the Land which had a 40 minute wait! We went through the line for Soarin and it was a 50 minute wait without a fastpass; we only had a 10 minute wait. We went in and thankfully we got placed on the first row. Wow, Soarin is really amazing, I loved the smells; it was truly a beautiful ride. Our fastpass for the Land was up as well at 4:51p.m. so we left Soaring and hopped on that. It was neat, I had never done it before, but I personally wouldn’t stand in line for 50 minutes to do it. During all this time, I had rained but now thankfully it stopped. I was a little upset because it was so late and we hadn’t even done a third of WS. Needless to say, we didn’t see much. We rushed through each country, which drove me mad because that’s my favorite part. At 7:10p.m. we had reservations at Biergarten in Germany. We checked in a little early because my husband was hungry and were seating within 10 minutes. Thankfully we got seated with some wonderful people. A family (husband and wife) with his parents who were celebrating their 50th Anniversary and a mother and daughter who were taking some well deserved time off. The entertainment was cute and we really had a great time, however, I was not thrilled with the food….I’ll do Norway any time but not Germany. My husband on the other hand, loved the food! Oh well. After leaving dinner it was time to get our wristbands for EMH and find a good spot for Illuminations. We walked around but there was nothing good so we settled for a spot close to Canada. As we walked past Canada we noticed a lot of police presence there which I thought was strange; guess something happened. Well anyway, we finally get to our spot and my husband goes and get a drink. As we stand there waiting for it to start and starting to freeze because the temperature was dropping, we heard a lot of commotion coming from the Handicapped section which was right in front of us. I saw a person the ground so I thought someone had fallen but then I see two grown man get up and start throwing punches at each other. One was wearing all white and as I started to panic I told my husband that I thought the guy in white was a CM. He didn’t believe me and I was trying to get me to move but I wasn’t giving away my spot (I’m stubborn). They kept fighting and eventually tumbled into a grass area with bushes and trees. They kept going at it in there, got out of that area, started walking their ways and then went at it again. By this time we were all screaming for security (whom I had just seen in Canada less than 10 minutes away) and no one would come. Those two guys were killing each other and finally one of them walked away and the guy in all white started walking our way. People decided to start following him and as he walked right next to me I turned to my husband and said, that is a CM! He still didn’t really believe me. Well still no sign of security anywhere and people were yelling at the poor new CM that was standing on the other side for not doing anything (he just kept saying that he couldn’t leave his spot). Some of the people standing by went into the bushie area and found a cell phone and a name tag so apparently it was a CM. How horrible! I was shaking, this kind of stuff is not suppose to happen in the happiest place on earth on the last day of honeymoon and where in the world was security? Well the fireworks started but we really couldn’t hear the music since they broke a speaker (I think) but regardless the fireworks were beautiful. I love that show. I was still freaking out and finally security showed up (a little late!). They handed the one security guy that showed up the nametag and cell phone and some people talked to him about what happened and that was that, he left. Well the fireworks were over with but I was still in shock of what I had seen. My husband was trying to snap me out of it and told me that I just needed a little bit of shopping and then I’d feel all better……he knows me so well! We went to get some souvenirs, mainly a long sleeve shirt for me since I was freezing. We got our stuff and made our way to Mission Space! I had never ridden this so I was nervous and so was my husband but we got over it. There was about a 10 minute way and when it was finally our turn we were excited. It was soo much fun and my husband and I could not stop laughing. It was so awesome that we rode it again! Bad idea, that time I did get a headache and felt a little weird but it went away quickly. We then went to Mexico, bought some stuff and rode El Rio del Tiempo. We walked right in and had the thing all to ourselves. We also did Norway’s Maelstorm and that was fun as usual. By now it was 11p.m. and we were tired so we decided to make our way out of the park. We had a great day at Epcot even though I wish we could have spent more time in WS….maybe next time.

Our last day. I woke up at 6a.m. to get ready to go to early morning EMH at MGM. I woke up my husband at 6:30 so he would get ready and he did but we never made it to MGM. He was too tired and once we got to the bus stop he asked me if we could go back to the room because he was too tired. BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO. Well then I decided to head over to the food court and also the store to buy some stuff that I wanted/needed. I was back in the room by 8:30 and my husband was asleep. He finally got up at 10a.m. and decided he wanted to go to Magic Kingdom to ride Space Mountain. He got ready and off we went again. We first went to check in to our airline and leave our luggage so the clock was ticking. We made it to MK and since we had received a fastpass from a CM which was good to ride any ride in MK at any time, we used it on that since the wait was 45 minutes. We walked right in and rode it and on our way out we took some more pictures. We left, I cried and then we made our way to the monorail to go to Epcot. We needed to be back in our hotel by 3p.m. on the dot and it was already 1:30p.m. We got to Epcot, took some more pictures, went to get our food and oh my goodness, they took 30 minutes taking our order and getting our food out. I ordered a salad and that’s why it took so long. When my husband finally got back to the table I had to run to the photo place so I could get the photopass CD deal. I then ran back, quickly ate my lunch and off we went again. By 2:30p.m. we were at the bus stop but there was no sign of a bus coming so by 2:45 we decided to grab a cab and go. It was only $10 and we were there on time. Our ME bus got there and we waved goodbye to my favorite place in the whole wide world. I was so sad but we needed to come back to the real world. Husband promised me we’ll go back for our 2 year anniversary so I’ll have to wait until then.

Great trip report. Congatulations on your wedding.

We'll have to check our video camera to see if you are in it from Epcot...we were in Le Cellier at the exact time on 1/13 and rode El Rio Del Tiempo and Spaceship Earth after Illuminations.

great report and wonderful photos - we were in the same building at CBR - what a walk!
