Dates: Sept 23-29
Resort: POFQ
Attending: Me- mom extraordinaire; my parents 58 & 60 years young; my 3 kids- 2 boys who are 7 and 4 and baby girl who will be 6+ months. Parents are treating us to celebrate their retirement and they wanted to do something fun for me and my kids as DH has been in Iraq for a long, long time and still has several months to go.

We will be flying in from Oregon; arriving at MCO at 7:30. Already booked Tiffany Town Car (van) to take us to POFQ. I'm afraid to hassle with the Disney bus service at this point. Used Tiffany before, they were great. The plan is to check in, throw the luggage in the room and go eat at the food court. We are on the "Free" dining plan so we plan on EATING. :teeth: Go back to room after exploring the resort a bit, unpack and TRY and settle down to bed. It's hard coming from different time zone. Maybe even take a quick dip in pool if our energy it up.

Saturday- We are hitting MGM in the morning. We want to do Tower of Terror, Rock n Roller Coaster, Star Tours & Muppets all before lunch (utilizing baby swap and fast pass if need be). If we can do all of this and there is a Beauty and the Beast show before 11, we will see that too. We have a 1210 PS at 50s Prime Time. Somewhere in there we want to do the Honey I Shrunk playground too- maybe do that before lunch and Muppets afterward (before it's toooo hot?). Plan to break back to room around 2ish.

Around 5ish head over to MK so we can see the only showing of SpectroMagic. Eat dinner at either Pecos Bills or Columbia House. Try and go on a ride or two before dinner, like maybe Aladdin's carpets & Pirates. After dinner, stake out spot in either Frontierland or Liberty Square for parade. If kids are wiggly, we can take turns walking around with them or maybe squeezing in a ride on Big Thunder. We'll see how it goes- we waited for about 90 minutes for Fantasmic at DL last summer and they did pretty well. After Spectro watch Wishes and maybe go on one or two more rides, like Mickey's Philharmagic & Small World. Depart. Sleep.

Sunday- (all breakfasts will be in room or something from POFQ foodcourt). Magic Kingdom again. Hit Fantasyland first and do Dumbo, Peter Pan and whatever else we want to do that didn't get done the night before. Explore Toontown. Get FP for Space for myself, dad and 7 year old (4 year old will still be too short). Go on Buzz & TTA. Lunch at Cosmic Rays. Space Mtn. Train to Frontierland and get FP for Splash. Go on Big Thunder with Baby Swap. See Country Bears if we need to kill time for Splash FP window. Go on Splash with baby swap. Backtrack to Adventureland and go on Jungle Cruise and Tiki Birds...Dole Whip break! Baby Center break! Decide now if we want to stay in MK and go on ACed attractions and cool it for awhile, or go back to hotel....we have a 530PM PS for Ohana...if we stay in the park we will go on Haunted (if we haven't gone on it already), shop, maybe Carousel of Progress, Philharmagic and Pirates again, etc. Wash faces in bathroom and maybe change shirts before Ohana. I just know traveling from resort to resort is somewhat of a time killer, and that's why we may just really try and stay in the MK if we're still in good spirits.

After Ohana crash in hotel, maybe some pool time.

Monday- Epcot- this is EE day...We will either go on Soarin or get a FP right away for it. Been on it at DCA and it's awesome. Go on Test Track. My dad and DS7 may go on Mission Space- mom and I went on it in 2003 and didn't love it...didn't hate it, but not a must do. Wander through Mouse Gears. :goodvibes My favorite shop....Go on JIYI and perhaps the Land boatride too. Head to World Showcase. The boys REALLY want to do the KidCot masks. "Do" Mexico, Norway & China. Eat counter service in China. Continue on to Germany and Italy and then take Friendship boat back to FW and exit park for a rest & swim. Return to park around 5ish and head to Canada- PS at Rose and Crown at 5:50. Listen to the British Invasion after dinner. See France movie. Shop in Japan, morocco. Maybe grab a funnel cake in America, but skip show as I think my boys would get very impatient with its length. Exit park before Illuminations crowd- we've seen it twice and it's our least favorite nighttime show...sorry Illuminations fans! I'm so glad the boys want to do the masks cause it will give us the opportunity to spend a little time in each country.

Tuesday- AK- start in Camp Minnie Mickey and work our way clockwise. We will hang for the first FOTLK show and then move on to Safaris and Rafiki's planet watch...lunch at Tusker. Grab a FP for Kali and see the tigers. Go back to Kali (no bird show for us...not fans of birds either). Wind our way to the Tree of Life and ITTBAB (I'm HOPING DS 4 will like it- hope-hope-hoping). Head to the Boneyard to blow off steam- myself and dad and maybe DS7 go on Dinosaur. Little ones on Triceratops spin. Maybe Tarzan depending on our stamina. Leave park around 2 or 3ish. We want to see the parade, but we can never ever manage to stay in this park past 2 cause we're always so HOT, TIRED and SWEATY- and those times were in March and Oct...I know Sept will be even hotter and muggier. Swim, rest and maybe head to Downtown Disney for some pre-dinner shopping (around 4ish) and we can take the bus to WL from there.

Dinner PS at Whispering Canyon. 6:30....we love the Lodge.

Wednesday- Mom and little ones (baby and 4 year old) stay behind to watch cartoons and rest. Dad, 7 year old and I head to Typhoon Lagoon for a few hours. Probably just from 10-1. Return to hotel to rest and give mom a break. Head to MK around 5ish as it's late night for resort guests. 540 PS at the castle for dinner! Fun! No characters, but it will still be neato. Hit all our favorites again and stay til we drop.

Thursday- Right now I have MGM on the books as my boys LOVE Star Tours and the older one also likes ToT and RnRC. We may try and see Little Mermaid and the new Stunt show (oh- I meant to mention earlier that while the girls see Beauty and the Beast, the boys will go see Indiana Jones or new Stunt Show). We have a 1210 PS at Sci Fi. Leave park around 2. Leave hotel around 3 as we want to have a decent dinner at the airport (the last two times we were in a rush and had to grab McDonalds to eat on the plane.)

So, what do you think! If you read this whole thing, you are brave. Thanks for any input.

Wow, sounds great you have everything already worked out.. Your a planner like me.. I think its great that your parents are taking you and your kids. I love having my family in WDW...

It seems like you have a real good plan here. You have already done the one thing I would recommend and that is stay away from MK on Monday and Tuesday. Hope you have a ball.
