So in honor of it being the last year for the Osborne Lights, I thought I would share a few of my favorite pictures Osborne Lights pictures from our 2012 trip!









I know they aren't the greatest quality of pictures, but I'm glad I have them to remind me of that night with the kids!​

I thought I read that DHS QS places like Commissary close pretty early, like 6pm. Think I read that on easywdw, so just a word of caution.

Otherwise, everything looks fantastic!!

We are doing the night before drive too. Although we are being a little more optimistic and hoping to get to Charlotte the first night, about 6 or so hours!

I'm hoping to have some down time this weekend to play around with Touring Plans a bit more now that I have my FP's set and hopefully that will help kick my butt back into the Disney Spirit.

You do seem to go into a Disney slump after the Disney high...just like a drug! I did the same thing and stopped working on our plans/trip so much then all of a sudden we are a few days away and I still have a list of things to do!
So be vigilant!

I’ve mapped out the directions from the hotel to CSR and it is about a 4 ½ hour drive. I will be doing the driving on this leg of the trip since Keith is really not a morning person. I’m hoping to cut that down to 4 hours…shhhhh don’t tell Keith.

You sound like me...I told Lane I am starting our drive down when we leave Thursday - not because he isn't a morning person but because he is S-L-O-O-O-W and it drives me crazy!!

I think from there we will head over to the Osborne Lights. I’m so sad this is the last year for them so I want to make sure I check them out one last time!

I am so jealous! I have not seen them yet and we discussed that we may try and go for the Christmas season next year, but now I will never get to see them! Unless of course I can talk him into a quick trip down to see them!

I think you are right about QS places closing early...we have such a late lunch that day I know we won't fee like eating again until later in the evening. I'm sure we will figure it out.

LOL...I feel your pain! I will let Keith drive the evening we leave since our destination is in Ga, but that next morning it is all mine because the destination will then be DISNEY!!!

YAY!!!! I made my last payment today!!!!!!! woohoo!!!! That feels so good!!

Now just onto saving money for the remaining items (rental car, gas, OOP food during travel days, hotel room on way down there and $ to upgrade our tickets to APs!!)

The last thing to look forward to now is our Magic Bands being mailed! This will be our first trip with the bands so I'm super excited to use them!​

Yay, last payment Nirvana! I have to buckle down this weekend and get myself on a budget track to make sure my March trip is a go!

I wish I had started making payments sooner than I did, so I wasn't having to dish out as much from each paycheck. Oh well, at least it is paid off now!!

I know that the little food-courty thingy (Fairfax Fare, Toluca Turkey Legs Co, Catalina Eddie's, Hollywood Scoops, etc) on Sunset Blvd stays open until closing. I've had dinner there a couple times right before heading into see Fantasmic.

I just had to share one of my latest purchases for the November Trip. I was excited I had slimmed down a little to be able to fit in this.



I bought 2 other shirts...an Ariel one and a Star Wars one (Keith liked that one the best). I will post pics of those another time. I also ordered a shirt from Disney Store website, I'm not sure if it will fit...some times they they do, and other times not so much but we shall see. If it does then I will be all set on clothes for the trip.

After reading Bille's update, I am in search of a toiletry bag! After that I should be good on everything (possibly).

Six weeks from today and Keith and I will be getting ready to get on the road and head to Port Wentworth GA! ​
