Well, here I am posting all my insite and happenings to this board. It will take a while, but hopefully people will read it so it will be worth it :-)

Day 1 (well, really preDisney Day)- November 9, 2002
at 11:00am Paul and I got married. It was a beautiful ceremony in Houston and our friends and family were there to watch. Tears were had by all. My dad rewrote the song Butterfly Kisses to go along better with he and I. It was beautiful. Then I surprised Paul with a poem I wrote- he was trying not to cry, but his best man was letting the tears flow :-) Then near the end of the ceremony before we kiss, my daughter Ashlei (who was 3 at the time, she is now 4 :-) ) came on stage and Paul said vows to her saying how much he loved her and that he wanted to be the best father he could for her and that he would shelter her, love her and provide for her. If all that didn't leave you crying there was something wrong with you :-)
Our reception was right next door and it was great. The DJ did a wonderful job and my photographer and videographer were great. I can't wait to see all the pictures and the video.
Right after our reception we ran to the house (Paul had been living there for 2 months- we just built it- and I lived with my parents). We got changed and Paul's sister and brother-in-law came to pick us up and take us to the airport. Our flight was at 8:00 that evening and we got into Orlando at 11:30pm.
We stayed at the Hampton Inn near the airport that night because we didn't want to waste a day at Disney when we wouldn't have done anything but sleep.
It was a very busy and tiring day for us both.

November 10, 2002 (The True Day 1)-Sunday
Paul surprised me with a limo picking us up from the Hampton and taking us to the Wilderness Lodge. It was really nice because neither of us had been in a limo before so it was a first for both of us. I felt like a princess.
Soon we arrived at the Wilderness Lodge and right when we walked in my mouth fell to the floor. What a grand place I felt I was in. I didn't feel like I was at Disney at all but rather at a hotel near the grand canyon. It was an unique experience walking in there and seeing the massive logs all around the resort. We checked in and immediately met Megan our Concierge Coordinator. She was nothing like I had pictured her to be, but was very sweet. She checked us in and then took us upstairs and showed us around the concierge level. Then she sat down and went through our itinerary of the next 10 days with us. She also gave us a beautiful collector box that had a coin in it. It was a nice gift. After our meeting with her, our room wasn't ready yet so we headed off to Downtown Disney. We had tickets to Cirque that night and couldn't wait. We had seen Dralion in Houston and loved it. Na Nouba is no exception. It was great. Before that however, we went shopping. I saved up alot of money so that we could buy Christmas presents for everyone back home. We spent alot of money the first day, but it was worth it. We went back to the hotel around 1:00pm to see if our room was ready yet. It wasn't so we went downstairs and ate lunch at the Whispering Canyon Cafe. It was a riot! I was wearing my bride ears headband and so they asked Paul and I to stand up. They started to sing "Going to the Chapel" and so Paul and I danced by our table. It was fun and they all congratulated us and gave us wine after that. Paul drank both because I took one sip and nearly gagged to death. Did I mention I haven't really had a drink before? Well, it was fun anyway.
Finally we were able to get into our room and right when I walked in I was surprised with a dozen roses on the table. There were also rose petals all over the bed, in the tub and even on the celing fan. It was beautiful! Megan and Randall also had Honeymoon t-shirts waiting for us when we walked in. I had asked them about getting honeymoon shirts and they said that Disney doesn't sell them anymore, but Randall designed ours himself. It was so great! They looked fantastic! Minnie and Mickey were dressed in wedding attire and it said Honeymoon 2002.
All of this was great, but we did have one small (ok, it wasn't really so small) problem. We didn't get our bag of goodies that we were promised when we booked our honeymoon package. We were paying all this money to be on the Honeymoon Grand Plan and we didn't get our bag of goodies. I wasn't thrilled, but Paul said he would fix it. When Paul inquired about it he was told that we were booked on the regular Grand Plan not the honeymoon grand plan (what we still can't figure out is how they scheduled the honeymoon photography session if we weren't on the honeymoon grand plan) They explained that it would cost us $350 extra to get the bag and Paul, being the wonderful husband that he was and seeing how upset I was said whatever it took, he wanted to get me the bag.
After that we went to La Nouba and I was going to have a good time regardless of all the craziness that happened.
We were going to eat at the House of Blues afterward, but decided against it because there were alot of very unique people waiting to get in and we didn't feel that safe going there that night so we opted for room service. When we got back to the Hotel we realized that we didn't have a Magic Kingdom view like I had requested, but when we asked we were told that on Wed. we could change rooms. So we said fine, we wanted to do that. Well, the room we were in faced the lobby (as apparently all the Honeymoon rooms do) and we were up half the night hearing all the commotion from the Whispering Canyon Cafe and then were woken up early the next morning to kids yelling and running in the lobby-Where are their parents at 5 in the morning to tell the kids people are trying to sleep???)

Day 2-10 to come :)

Congarts on the wedding - your trip sounds like it is off to a good start - thanks for posting!

Gosh,

It seems like just yesterday that I was reading all your preperations and here you are home already!! Time flies when your having fun.

Could you tell me what kind of view you had off your balcony?

thanks so much.... I'm really enjoying your posts as we will be leaving on our WL Honeymoon in 2 weeks

Cast of Characters:
Me- Heather, the one always with her head in the clouds and who loves to collect anything and everything
Paul- My new husband who still has trouble understanding me sometimes and tries to keep me in reality (I hate reality, don't you??) Thank goodness he is the level-headed one in this relationship.

Day 2-November 11, 2002- Monday

Man, getting up early is horrible. I am not a morning person at all and I get really grouchy and grumpy. So why are we up so early? Why to go to the Keys to the Kingdom tour at Magic Kingdom. We were actually scheduled for 9:00 am, but I swiched it when I found out that Lisa and Scott were doing the same tour that day only earlier.
We walked into the Magic Kingdom and there was almost no one there. It was neat. I couldn't believe how quiet and beautiful everything looked before the Kingdom opened. I have always loved the Magic Kingdom, but this was my first time to see it without crowds around. It was great!

We went to the town hall and checked in for our tour. Lisa and Scott came soon after us. I waited until they checked in and Lisa came up and said- Heather? Yeah, we finally got to meet after all the emails that we had been sending each other. It was great. The tour was really interesting and I would advise anyone without kids or with kids older than 16 to go on this tour!!! It was great and I learned more about Disney than I already knew. Makes me want to go work there even more now.
Lisa and I were both wearing Bride ears and Scott was wearing his groom ears. Unfortunately, Paul couldn't wear his, one size doesn't fit all was his slogan for the whole honeymoon, people were really mad at him for not wearing his ears....
After the tour we all took pictures around the castle and then we went to Splash Mountain. What was interesting was that none of us had to say, so you want to do something now that the tour was over. We just assumed that we were all hanging out the rest of the day and that was that. At Splash Mountain we had to wait a while, but it was worth it. We got our own boat for the 4 of us and that was cool. Scott got really soaked and Lisa was pretty wet too. (They sat in the front) Paul and I were a little wet, but not too bad After the Splash Mountian Experience we draged our wet selves over to Pirates of the Caribean. This is Paul's Favorite ride so we had to ride it :-). We requested our own boat again and our request was granted happily. Once we got in the boat and were ready to go a man's voice came on the loud speaker congratulating the two couples on their wedding. Everyone waiting in line clapped and cheered for us. It was neat!
After that we said our good-byes because Paul and I had dinner at Victoria and Alberts that night, but we made plans to meet back up on Friday at the Magic Kingdom since they left on their cruise on Saturday.
Paul and I got back to the Hotel and got all dressed up for Victoria and Alberts (I forgot to take pictures of us, but we looked really good!)
We entered the Grand Floridian and went to a shop because we were a little early for our reservations. Paul had a Mickey pin on his lapel and I convinced him to trade it with the Cast member working there at the time because he had a pin turned backwards and he told us that it was most likely a Lanyard pin. So Paul, being the dear sweet person that he is, traded the pin and we got a Lanyard pin of Peter Pan saying Pan's the Man. It was neat.
When we got there, Paul was glad I bugged him to get a new white shirt and wear a tie. We felt so out of place there. We felt like the Beverly Hillbillies at a Posh Club or something.
When we sat down, they showed us our menu and explained what all the items were and what course they went in. After that they asked if we wanted wine with dinner, Paul and I both said no because we aren't big drinkers and apparently this isn't the Norm at V&A's. They looked at us very funny and made a huge display of taking the wine glasses off the table. This 8 course meal was going to be a LONG evening. When we got our first course Paul had to keep from laughing. The courses were like bird food for Paul. He made the comment that he would have to eat dinner after this over-priced snack. It was a interesting evening to say the least. At the end of the meal (the dessert was the best part of the whole experience. Wish we could go just for dessert, but that's not how it works.) After the dinner was done we got our menus back and they gave me a single red rose. That was very nice.
We then went back to our room and fell asleep because we had such a big day!

Our view at first was just a woodsview- nothing special at all, but on Wed we changed to the Magic Kingdom view- although you can't see the castle you can see Space Mountain and the Fireworks are beautiful sitting on your balcony. Now, the one problem I had with the Honeymoon rooms was that they all faced the lobby so that during the day and evening it was very loud because all the people eating at Whispering Canyon Cafe and early in the morning little kids are running around in the lobby yelling like everyone is already up (that's 5 am.)
It was a great place, but I think they could have set up the Honeymoon rooms better than that. We were on the concierge level so I thought we would be getting a better room. Oh well, still had a great time!

We actually have a courtyard view booked at the moment and think we might stick to that rather then upgrading to the 7th floor. How was the food up there anyway? I'm sorry to hear about the noise in the Hallway and your right , "Honeymoon's" should equal a more quiet setting ;) . We passed on V&A for dinner and after reading your post (thank you!!) am glad we did..my FH (big bruiser that he is) likes a hearty meal.....and let's face it, we just aren't fancy smanshy people.

Any and all your feed back is very much welcome!! anything you would have done differently?? Room location, meals, don't miss moments...etc.

I would appreciate the help.

thanks so much

The food was good at Concierge, but not worth it to us because we were hardly ever at the hotel room. Don't miss moments....hmmm, just take it all in. Although wear your ears if you go into Norway. Malestrom (the ride they have there), you will get to be able to go in the fast pass line and they give you your own boat- we rode that ride 4 times I think just because of that. Don't miss the show in England- it's a hoot- King Arthur and the Quest for the Holy Grail. Also, in Epcot, see Off Kilter (they are a great bagpipe band- very funny). Eat at Rose and Crown, you won't be disappointed. I also loved Le Cellier in Canada- they have great Cheddar Cheese soup and they will give you the recipie! Not kidding! I will update you more on things not to miss, but those are the ones off hand. :-)

November 12, 2002- Tuesday

Today we are going to Epcot, Paul's favorite park and is becoming one I am liking more. The first ride we went on was Spaceship earth. I had never been on that ride and Paul said I had to go on it. It was good, very informative of how we all use comunication, but not one of my favorite, must do rides.
We then walked over to Imaginations and saw that Figment is Back! I was so excited I could barely contain myself. I loved Figment as a child and was so sad to hear that Disney did away with that ride, but now he is back in a new ride. After the ride Paul bought me a Figment stuffed animal, just like the one I used to have when I was a kid. It was great.
After Figment we went to the World Showcase. We went on Malestrom (the ride in Norway) and they saw my ears and had us go through the fast pass ride and when we got to the front, they gave us our own boat. That was so neat. The same thing happened to us when we went on the boat ride in Mexico only in Mexico they congratulated us and everyone cheered. We ate at the Rose and Crown Pub for Lunch. Their shepherd's pie is to die for! Really good food. I would suggest other people go there.
We wandered around the Showcase some more. Watched King Arthur and the quest for the Holy Grail. Those wandering minstrels are a hoot. We then went to Canada to watch Off Kilter. They are a great Bagpipe band who really know how to have fun. If they see you about to take a pickture they all walk over to that side of the stage and pose for you while they are playing. It's great.
Soon, it was dinner time. We ate at Le Cellier in Canada and all I can say is eat the Cheese Soup!!! It is the greatest and I hate soup. The waitress we had was great. She was from Vancuver and we talked about all the things you can do in Vancuver and all the places I had visited in Canada before. The steak was wonderful, very juicy, Paul had Salmon and said it was fantastic. We were very pleased there and couldn't wait to go back.
After we were done with our meal, we walked outside and saw that it was raining. Thankfully, earlier that day we had heard it was going to rain and bought ponchos just in case. So, we got our ponchos on and walked to the main entrance to go back to our hotel. We had another big day tomorrow at MGM.

November 13, 2002- Wed.
Today was a big MGM day. I was looking forward to it because I am a huge fan of movies (just come to my house sometime and see my DVD collection :-) ) I especially love old movies made back in the 40's so MGM is my kind of place.
Fist thing we did was go on the Star Tours Ride. I remember that being alot longer and neater when I was younger, but maybe that was just me. Then we went to go see Muppet 3-D. I like that movie. You feel like you are in the middle of the muppet theater and they are doing a live show for you. I recommend that for everyone.
After Muppets we went on the Great Movie ride. I had never been on that before and it was great fun. We were kidnapped by a gangster and he got greedy and we lost him at the indiana jones part of the ride. Paul had to cover my eyes for when we went into the Alien part of the ride. I really hate scarry things.
After all the rides we had to got to our reservation at the 50's prime time cafe. It's a neat place that makes you feel like you are back at a house in the 50's. Mom is in the kitchen making food for everyone and you have waiters or waitresses that are related to you somehow. Our waiter "Bob" was apparently my brother and he wanted to know why he didn't get a invitation to the wedding. He was very upset about that. Paul had to tell him that we mailed him one, but the Mail man must have lost it.
After lunch I felt really tired from all our running around so Paul took me back to the Resort and he went on to Animal Kingdom for a few hours to see what it was like. I slept until he got back. We ordered room service that night and watched the fireworks from the Magic Kingdom on our balcony. It was nice. That night the hotel started setting up their Christmas Decorations. It was hard to sleep with all that noise downstairs, so I was gratefull that I got a nap earlier.

Today was the "relaxation day" for me and a fishing excursion for my DH . He was really looking forward to fishing and I was looking forward to the Aromatherapy massage from Grand Floridian. I got to the Grand Floridian and found out that I had to walk outside near the Wedding Pavilion for the spa treatment. Not a huge deal, I was early anyway and I wanted to see what the big deal was with the wedding pavillion anyway. Got to the spa and couldn't wait to get started. There was almost no one there at 10:00, but by the time my treatments were done there were about 10 ladies in the lounge. I got a aromatherapy massage which was fantastic. I was a little worried at first because I have had a very horrible and bad experience before at a spa so I was grateful that nothing happened other than I enjoyed myself. Then I was wisked away for my aromatherapy pedicure. That was nice to let my feet be pampered like that. After all that I was done and went to pay (well, put it on my room because the treatments were included in the plan). I was told by the Cast Member working the register that I had a twin living in Indiana or something like that. She said that her best friend looked exactly like me, had the same manerisms and the way I talked was exactly like her too. Kinda creepy, but interesting. Her best friend was my age also. I am begining to wonder if I have a twin somewhere and no one told me. I was adopted so that is a huge posibility, but I wouldn't count on it. Anyway, after that interesting experience I was ready to go. I took some pictures of the Wedding Pavillion, but it didn't wow me like I thought it would. I guess that is good because it didn't make me depressed that I got married in Texas instead of Disney.
Back to the room and to see how my DH did with Fishing. When I got back he was there waiting for me. He had a great time- caught 15 fish in the first hour they were out there. He said it was alot of fun. Well, I was energized from my massage so he sugested that we go to the Magic Kingdom for the afternoon. He was tired, but wanted to go. I jumped at the chance. We first grabbed a bite to eat at the roaring forks cafe (saw that they had Mickey straws for 50 cents each and made a note of it so we could get some for my daughter because I bought some for her last year and my mom melted them when she would put them in the dishwasher)
After a quick lunch we went to the Magic Kingdom and rode Buzz Lightyear. (I like to think that my laser was broken because Paul beat me pretty badly.) We then got a fast pass for space mountain and then we went on It's a Small World and Snow White. We also went shopping a little and spent money on Christmas presents for everyone.
We then walked over to Space Mountain and got to ride once. It was funny because Paul kept laughing through the whole ride. He is so crazy sometimes.
Then we went back the the Resort and found our bag of goodies waiting for us (remember the horrible experience earlier) well, we had a little time before we had to be at the Hoop-Dee-Doo so I decided to open the bag right by the concierge desk (where we picked it up) All that was in it was a memory box, a Castle Picture frame, 2 lanyards and chocolate. I can tell you that none of that added up to $350 so I asked where the watches were and all the other things we were promised. The girl got on the phone and left Randall a message. She said he would be back in the morning and fix the problem.
Well, time for Hoop-Dee-Do and I was a little upset, but I didn't want the bag to get me down. We hopped on the boat and took it over to the Wilderness Campground. The Hoop-Dee-Do was great! It was all you care to eat for the whole thing. At the middle of the show they asked about people who were celebrating a honeymoon or a aniversary. The first person they picked out was me because I was wearing those cute ears. They asked us what we were celebrating and my DH said our 50th wedding Anniversary (what a crazy guy) they all laughed and then said congratulations. At the end of the evening they pick out 4 people from the audience to help them with their final act. I was picked and had to go backstage. They put me in a Can-Can girl outfit and I had to get on stage and do the can-can dance and then they said that I needed to kiss the bear (one of the actors was dressed up like a bear) and I had to say, I can't do that, I'm to emBarassed. It was really funny and at the end of the show they gave us all a certificate that we were now official members of the Hoop-Dee-Do and they gave us polaroids of our performance. It was hysterical and I would do that show again in a heart beat. It's great for adults and kids alike.
After the whole experience we got on a bus to take us back to our Resort. Everyone was congratulating us and telling me what a great job I did. It was so much fun!

But I saw it now!!!!! It's kinda cool reading your trip report when I knew so much of it already!! I have a gift for your report thread....
2488808a.jpg

I know you told me you don't have a scanner so when I get my pics back I'll give you the ones of the 4 of us to post in here if you want!!

That's great Lisa! Thanks! I am working on getting a scanner at home (I have a huge one at work that we all call the Bear :-) ) And I actually have 3 other small visioneer scanners sitting in my desk here at work. I am trying ot buy one of them, but not sure how that will work out yet. I also want to go to Walmart and see if they can get all the pictures I already got developed onto a disk so I don't have to worry about scanning them :-) That would be nice.
I got 21 rolls developed thinking I was done, then I found more in my carry-on bag two days later. How crazy is that :-)
Thanks for the link to you Wedding Pages Journal. I was reading it and loved it!!

Hope all is well for you and Scott.

November 15, 2002- Friday

Today was another day at the Magic Kingdom. We were getting our Honeymoon Photos done at 10:30. That was fun and it didn't take very long. We got a picture with the Mayor of Main Street and also a picture with the lady who was running for Mayor. It was a hoot. The Lady that was running for mayor just cracked me up. She grabbed my hand and saw the ring. She loudly said that you could see it all the way from the front of the park. She also announce to anyone who was listening that we were married and on our honeymoon. She was so funny! We also went and got our picture taken with Mickey Mouse. That was neat too. Paul learned about the wishing well on the side of Cinderella's castle. He never knew about it until now.
Then we went to Cinderella's Castle for lunch before we had to meet up with Lisa and Scott. I took tons of pictures, but never got one of me sitting on the throne because there were always kids sitting on it. Go figure :-) The food was wonderful! I loved the roast and the smoothies that they had were great too. When we were being seated everyone said we were getting the best seat in the house. We got to sit at a table right in front of the windows. It was a great view that looked over the carosel. Our table was decorated with confetti and ribbon. When our lunch was over our waitress gave us a magical moments certificate and two champagne glasses. It was really neat!
Paul and I saw that we got done with lunch a little early so we just sat in front of the Mickey and Walt statue and relaxed while we waited for Lisa and Scott.
We met up with Lisa and Scott and Scott had saved us a seat for the parade that was about to happen. While we were sitting there a Cast member said that the parade doesn't go up the street that we were waiting on the curb but she said that we could sit where the tape was. We got a front row seat with no one blocking our view! It was great! While we were waiting some cast members from Space Mountain were making sure that everyone was standing where they should and they started talking to us. The guy asked us if we liked Space Mountain. We all said yes and he said that he would be right back. Soon he came back with Fast Passes for Us and Lisa and Scott saying that right when the parade was over we could go. It didn't have a time on it, just his initials or something. It was really neat. After the parade was over we got a fast pass for Buzz Lightyear and then went on Space Mountain. I got to sit in the front of the car and that was alot of fun! Paul didn't laugh as much this time. :)
After that, Paul, Lisa and Scott wanted to go on Alien Encounter. I told them that I would shop while they did that because like I said before, I hate scarry things. When I was little I had nightmares about the Wizard of Oz, so I think Alien Encounter would be too much for me. While they were in there I ended up buying more presents for my sweet little girl (her birthday was November 20- the day we got back). Then I sat outside and waited for them to be done. A cast member came up to me and asked where my other half was (I was wearing my ears). I said he went on Alien Encounter with some friends and he asked me why I didn't go. Then we just started talking until the ride was over. Seemed like all of them liked it, but Paul told me it was a good thing I didn't go on it because I wouldn't sleep for a month after that.
After all that we went on Buzz Lightyear and Again, my lazer must have been broken. Lisa beat Scott and Paul beat us all by a zillion points. I don't know how much higher his counter could have gone. (I don't like that ride anymore :) )
Then we went over to the Haunted Mansion. Thankfully the "Elevator Room" was working this time. When we went on the Keys to the Kindgdom Tour it didn't work so Lisa (who had never been on this ride before) didn't understand what we were all talking about.
We also went on Pirates of the Caribean again. Paul really does love that ride :)
We said goodbye to our dear new friends after that and each went our seperate ways. Paul and I were going to the Poly Luau that night, but I would have rather spent more time with Lisa and Scott.
We went to the Luau and were so tired of food that we didn't eat much. We left early because we were both tired and didn't really care about the hula dancing. (Not exactly sure why we went anyway other than to say that we saw it. After that we went back to our resort and slept.

November 16, 2002- Saturday

Today was a big day at MGM (or so we thought). We ate breakfast at Hollywood and Vine, a great character breakfast with Minnie, Goofy, Pluto, Chip and Dale. I don't think Mickey is there, we never saw him. After our "all you can eat breakfast" that we ate almost nothing of (Did I mention we were sick of looking at food??) We walked out of H&V into a rain storm. Thank goodness Paul was smart and Packed our ponchos this morning. We started wandering the stores looking for a watch for me since we didn't get one in our goodie bag (yes, I am still bitter about that). Paul wanted to ride the Tower of Terror and told me I shouldn't ride it because I am claustrophobic (Don't ask, Elevators and airplanes kill me! )
So I found shelter while he did that. Then we went on Rockin Rollercoaster. I think I killed Paul at that point. He couldn't get out of his seat after it was over. I should have ridden that while he was on Tower of Terror, but I didn't think it would be that bad for him. Eventually he got over the shock of the ride and we went shoping some more. We were told that Fantasmic would probably be cancelled tonight because of the high wind and the rain. Well, there went our VIP seating. When we heard that we cancelled our dinner at the Brown Derby because it Didn't seem worth it to eat there if we couldn't see Fantasmic. Plus, we were so tire of eating. :)
We found a watch for me finally. It wasn't exactly what I wanted, but I really like it and have worn it every day since.
I also got a Christmas present for my SIL and my Brother.
We ate lunch at the Sci-Fi Dine in Theater. That was really neat. We got souvineer cups and a ice cube that glows. Pretty cool. By this time we were tired of the rain and the wind so we decided to go back to the hotel for a little while.
When we got back to the hotel I started packing up things since we had tons of gifts and not enough space in our luggage. We fed-exed 8 boxes to us so that they would come the day after we got back from our Honeymoon. Paul is now sound asleep on the bed. I know that because he snores- something I didn't really know about him until we got married and I am trying to cope with it because I am somewhat of an insomniac as it is and I have more trouble sleeping with noise in the room :-)
After Paul had his nap we headed to Downtown disney one last time. I should have gone by myself because Paul was tired and dragging and not in the greatest mood, but I made the best of it. I bought Ashlei (my daughter) playdo and a little mermaid doll (that's her favorite princess) I also bought some snacks for me. A caramel apple because I had just learned less than a year ago how wonderful caramel apples really are. (I had major jaw surgery done 2 years ago and before that couldn't eat apples unless they were cut up). It was great to be able to eat it! I also bought some other chocolates and things for snacks.
At this point we are ready to get back to the Hotel. We are missing my daughter terribly and are ready to get back to her. We have been having a wonderful time in Disney and meeting new people, but I miss my baby. I have never been away from her this long in all the 4 years she has been alive so this is hard for me.
We went back to our room and just watched some tv and fell asleep after all the noise died down in the lobby.

Heather! Wasn't the Sci -Fi Dine In AWESOME?! LOL We loved it!!! Too bad Fantasmic was cancelled for you ugys, but you were better off. When we went it was the nigt that it started pouring like crazy and we got stuck in the rain watching it and then had to run back to the bus soaking wet! Not fun...... I love reading your trip report!!!

Sci-Fi was great! I loved the cars and we got the backseat of one, Paul had to make the comment, look! I got you in the backseat of a car finally. :-) Silly boy.
I know that Paul and I are talking about taking a cruise sometime, but we don't know any details other than that or if we want to take a Disney Cruise or a different cruise. we shall see.
I loved all the pictures and the chatting on your journal. You all seem like you really care about each other and are great friends! I am so glad that I got to meet you and Scott! You are both really great people and I look forward to seeing you again and getting to know more about you! Our trip wasn't the same after you two left on our cruise. We kept saying, oh I wish Lisa and Scott could have seen this, it was funny :)

We didn't meet anyone on the cruise who we exchanged info with or who we'd want to keep in touch with and we were saying it's too bad you guys weren't on the cruise with us! I dont know if I'm going to get strted with my cruise trip report today but you'll be able to read all about it and that'll help you decide!! I like paul's comment about getting you in the backseat! LOL

Great Trip report Heather!!! Seems like those ears really helped, where did you guys get them? I wanted pick up a pair for us and a pair for our friends who'll be at the WL too.

Thanks for the info Heather!!!

LisaFB, we also have the same pkg. land/sea...how was the cruise? It'll be our first cruise ever and we were just wondering how the staterooms are and if you guys enjoyed it! Any goodies?

Thanks Lisa!

Queenie, congrats to you!!! Are you doing the combined 7 day alnd/sea pacakage or two separate packages? We did 2 completely seperate packages 1 week on land and then the 7 day cruise. We loved both of them and had a blast!!!

This was DH's first cruise ever (my second) and we loved it! The staterooms are generally 25% bigger on DCL than on most other ships. We had an outside room with a veranda and it was perfect! Since we were doing the pacakges separately we got the Romantic pakacge on the cruise which included a bottle of champage, a tray of cakes/ desserts, a tote bag filled with a journal/ memory book, chocolates and a picture frame, and 2 pin lanywards with fairy tale honeymoon pins. Oh yeah, we also got bath stuff and 1/2 hour massage each. Some of that was part of the package we paid for and some of it we think was a gift from DCL since it wasn't listed on the package.

As for the ears, Heather's was a headband and DH & I got the hats. We got ours at The Mouse Shoppe.

Hi Lisa,

For our pkg. we booked the 3 day land/4 day sea pkg, and we added 3 nights to the pkg. for after the cruise. This will be our first time in WDW together and our very first cruise too, so we're a bit nervous.

For the first land portion, we will be staying at the WL, then for the cruise we have stateroom 7518 (outside stateroom w/ verandah), then our post nights we'll be staying at the Dolphin. I REALLY hope everything turns out nice, I was reading some of your posts/reports and it sounded like you guys had a blast!

With this, we only got the honeymoon escape package, we're hoping everything turns out ok.

Glad to hear you enjoyed everything! Thanks for the link, I'm going to see if we have enough time to order the ears, if not, I'm really hoping that either the Disney store (either here in Jersey or NYC) have it or wait until we get down there to go to DTD!

Thanks again, please let us know if there's anything in particular that we must not miss!!! or any tips....thanks Lisa!!! :teeth: :teeth: :teeth:
