Today we headed back to Epcot....it was raining a bit, but we had too many fun things planned, so put on our rain jackets and headed out about 930!

park was not to busy, so we headed over to ride Soarin real quick and was texting my DIS friend Shawna for our meet up later.... did some shopping (I needed dry socks after walking though a BIG puddle) and started to walk around WS for our lunch at Via Napoli at 1130!

we got a window seat overlooking the courtyard...

we each ordered the caprese ... was good, but the tomatoes were a bit mushy.... megan got the margharita pizza and I got a very yummy chicken with potatoes and veggies!

and for dessert....tiramasu

the rain had stopped so we headed back around the WS to Germany...

on our way out back to FW....Duffy was out playing with only one family in line....see what happens next....

I had to convience Megan to see Duffy which turned out to be probably one of the best character interactions we had on this trip!!!

good thing I "twisted her arm" to see him....we had a good 5 minutes all to ourselves with Duffy!!!

it was almost time to meet up with Shawna and her family....but we stopped by Tink's place for pics of the topiaries...

met up with Shawna and the kids to ride Test Track....

and then it was off to "Save the world" with Kim Possible!

the kids picked up the communicators and we headed to Mexico to find the clues

they worked well together and had a lot of fun on their adventure!

We then met up with Shawna's DH Bruce and we got to visit the HP Pavillion in Mission Space (he works for HP)

Bruce and Ryan went on the ride while us girls hung out....got to check in on DIS for the first time in over a week!!! enjoyed some sodas and a nice place to take a rest!

We had a fun tour in "The Seas" courtesy of another DIS friend Sarah<3 Disney who is a CM working with the animals in AK and EP...she took us around the aquarium and told us lots of fun facts about it....did you know the aquarium could fit inside Spaceship Earth?!

found a hidden mickey....

got to see the manatees...

and then she took us backstage....sorry no photos of this area due to restrictions....got to see the areas where they check the fish, etc., learned all about the filtering systems, feeding of the fish, etc. there programs for rehabilitating those who are sick and/or injured and got to walk around the top of the aquarium...it was such a great tour and we all enjoyed learning more about how "The Seas" works!!!

we hung out a bit longer with our friends, then jumped on the bus to WL...we had dinner ADR's at Whispering Canyon Cafe....

our shirts were a gift from "SheriDee"

dinner was great....we both got steak!!

we took our dessert home....very full from dinner, but I can't remember what we got....

walked through the resort and bit before heading to the boat dock....

and beautiful way to end out night...

we got back to POP and I finished packing up our things....the next day we are on the move to AKL!!!

That looked like another wonderful day made even more special by the dis friends that you met up with. Yes, how fortunate that you twisted Megan's arm to stop for the visit with Duffy. We also came across Duffy with no line of folks waiting to see him and since I'm a sucker for teddy bears we went over to him despite the fact that I had never even heard of him prior to that moment. How sweet that Megan got to dance with Duffy!

I'm really looking forward to your next reports beginning with your move to AKL.

It sounds as if you had a wonderful day! I love the little remembrances! Duffy is great and I have a friend who is a good "friend" with Duffy and I will show her your post in case she was at Epcot that day. It is great that you got to meet up with friends. FINALLY the DIS let me log on! I have LOVED seeing the latest Pics (I saw Discovery Cove Pics earlier, but I already told you that) and the Dolphins looked like AMAZING fun! I can't WAIT to show Lisa Duffy! She has fallen in love with him and his story and I KNOW we will have to make a stop...how beautiful and free Megan looks dancing with him! Wait until Lisa sees her friend Megan is dancing with her new favorite bear! The children are all precious together, I loved seeing everyoen with Elliot's fmaily and the Kim Possible journey showed the children were fast friends! How AMAZING you got a behind the scenes tour, too cool! And now I am HUNGRY after seeing all of your great foodie pics! LOVED Sheridee's shirts...I had already seen them though and LOVED them!!!

Have a GREAT time at camp, stay dry, warm, happy and SANE!!!!

Hi Kathy! we had so much fun that day!

I'm doing great and DH is learning how to cope with his balance issue. They still don't know the cause of it and he has now lost some hearing in his left ear so he now has an ENT as one of his regular doctors.

We're in the midst of birthday season with our grandchildren. 3 of the 4 have birthdays between June 4 and July 13. Our Megan, the oldest, turned 13 on June 4!

Question - so the kiddos liked Kim Possible? Do you think (and you can ask Megan this) if it'll entertain a 6yr old and a 7 yr old? I am debating doing that with my nieces when they come in August.

today was moving day! got up early, called for luggage help, checked out and said our good-byes to POP! AKL here we come!

jumped on the bus to AK, then bus to AKL to check in! our room was ready!!

and a little mickey something....

we got settled in pretty quickly....we were having a resort day the next day so we didn't go exploring just yet!

we jumped back on the bus to enjoy our last day at AK!!

first up....of course Everest! road twice today!

wearing our shirts from Wendy (billwendy)...our favorite characters!!!

saw the nemo show...it is so wonderful and creative!

we were going to have lunch at yak & yeki, but changed our minds and ate at the Flame Tree BBQ instead...I had the pulled pork sandwich and megan got the chicken..both yummy!

next up we saw Bug's life and got to take photos of the Tree of Life....we had never done this before on our previous trips, was amazed on the details of the animals on the tree

Your view is fabulous! Expedition Everest has to be one of the best roller coasters. I am glad you were able to ride it twice. I love the bug glasses photo! I can't wait to read more!
