He is VERY easy to pick on. And he's getting grief on my PTR for not updating too.

I am feeling better, just a spring cold!....the beginning was my PTR before becoming my TR!

Today my Megan turned 11! where has the time gone? she is growing up way to fast for her mama!

Our day started early, up and on the road by 6am! driving to MCO from Mexico Beach was a long morning for me!

We arrived at MCO at 12:15, dumped off the rental car, onto Magic Express and arrived at POP Century at 1:30!!! where we were greated with a huge surprise from the BigGive/Disboutiquer's ladies....so much pixie dust and love from them all! after our whirlwind package opening, we got our things together and headed for the bus to the Magic Kingdom!!

Sorry I didn't get any photos of the beginning, still think I was on driving overload mode!

We walked onto Main St at 3:12, just as the parade was finishing up, watched for a few minutes and headed to the castle!

Princess Megan had an appointment to get to....BBB to be princess-fied!

afterwards we went on a few of our favorite rides....

BTMRR and POTC, and walked around a bit before dinner!

we then had Megan's birthday dinner at the castle!

Dinner time!

I had the beef tenderloin and Megan had the chicken with mac&cheese

both were Very good! up next Dessert!!

I had the Valrhona Choc Mousse and Megan had the Chef's Trio...more yumminess! along with her cupcake from Cinderella!

then it was gift time....Megan with her invitation to the Wishes Dessert Party surprise #1) and a little spending money from mama!

after dinner we headed over ride Buzz and walked around a bit before getting in line to check in the for Dessert Party! side note....don't book this after having a big dinner....way to full to fully enjoy the dessert unfortunately!

It was so nice to be able to sit and watch the Memories photos on the castle and Wishes without having to fight the crowds!

afterwards, we slowly walked back to the bus and were back in our room around 11pm....after a very long, happy and magical day we were ready to crash after talking a bit about our day...was a happy and bittersweet day for us both, excited to be back in WDW but missing Jim terribly...

got to sleep and looked forward to our next day at Epcot......

What a great way for a princess to celebrate her birthday!! Her hair looks great from BBB! And it even stayed in place through the rides!

You meal looks delicious!

Love your Memories photos! I hope to see it sometime in person! We usually have to leave before the fireworks because of Anakin's photosensitivity.

I LOVE the Goofy shirts...they are great.

The story of your husband is so sad and so very touching...thank you for sharing it.

Love the pixie dust from Judy and her family. I have found that DIS friends are some of the best friends around (my best friend, now adopted sister as that is how we think of each other, I met here on the DIS).

Sorry about the delay at the airport. I hate flying and delays make it all the worse.

What absolutely terrific gifts from all the DISer's you received...they were great. And your Goofy purchase is perfect!

The kids picture on the beach is also great.

And Megan made a beautiful princess. Happy 11th Birthday Megan.

it was a fun day! with all the gel and hairspray, her hair didn't even move that night...tried to get it to stay in place over night, but it didn't work out....the memories show is amazing, to see the castle transform that way is truly magical! my photos don't do justice to it or Wishes! hope you will be able to see it someday...

thank you for your sweet words Kathy! I feel the same way about our DIS friends....we think of them as our "Family in the Box" fortunately we were able to meet some of them on this trip and will be meeting more later this summer when we go to NY! and met one family when we went to CO in Feb!

I was just going to pop in to let you know that I got Megan's thank you card and I find another update! That was really very sweet of her and am glad that she liked everything.

I was telling my husband who the thank you card was from and then showed him the last picture of you and Megan with the castle in the background. He asked me how old she was again? and I told him to guess. I don't know if you want to hear this or let Megan know but he said 16! I told him she just celebrated her 11th birthday that day. Megan really looks older after her BBB hair and makeup. She is a beautiful princess.

so glad you got her card....I feel its important for her to be thankful and let people know when they send her gifts that she should show that thanks with a note!
16, tell your DH to bit his tongue she does look older than 11, especially all made up, but never thought 16! maybe 13!
hope you get to see the Memories show, it is beyond words!
happy I'm feeling better too, didn't get much accomplished this week!


so I just finished sorting all my photos into my scrapbooking catagories, wow its going to take me the rest of the year to get these done...if I'm lucky! thank goodness for all my swap's I joined these past months, will make some of it go quicker!

What a MAGICAL Day and a very beautiful Princess. I wanted Kylee to get the Pop princess, but she wanted bun Princess. I just love that picture of you and Megan in front of the castle. I do have to say...Megan does look older than 11. Steven is 11 and he is so immature for his age. Maybe it's a boy thing. Now get onto Epcot day.
