You probably think you were kidding, but that's exactly what has happened! I'm just drawn in by the owl and her babies I will do an update this weekend though I promise!

Thanks! Lilo and Stitch were a lot of fun, and Maddie likes the cartoon - so it was a good time.

I'm starting to catch up! Nice update I liked how they decorated CMM with the fall decor for the pictures! I remember them decorating for Xmas when I worked there fall 2008 but not for Halloween.

Can't wait for more!

After meeting Thumper and Miss Bunny, we headed to see “Festival of the Lion King”. This is such a great show – definitely worth the time and if it’s hot and sunny, it’s a great break from the sun. Here are two videos from the show:





We all really enjoyed the show, from there our plan was to head towards Asia to get fastpasses for Expedition Everest. On our way out of Camp Minnie and Mickey – we ran into her:

We also stopped for a nice photo-op on our way since the fog had cleared and the sun was out:

As we got closer to Asia, Everest came into view:

After all our photo-ops – we finally reached Asia and Expedition Everest:

I got 4 fastpasses for Everest (even though Tricia and I were the only ones riding, I figured if we really liked it we could ride twice). It was about noon and our fastpasses were for 12:45 - so that was pretty nice. To pass the time we decided to take a walk through the Maharajah Jungle Trek to see the tigers. We saw lots of other animals on our trek as well.

We found the tigers, who one of the castmembers said keep teenager hours :

Once we were done on the Jungle Trek, it was time for our fastpasses. Maddie is tall enough to ride Everest – but wasn’t feeling brave enough to try just yet. Doug isn’t a rollercoaster person, so it was just Tricia and I. We found Doug and Maddie a shady place to sit and something to keep Maddie happy while we rode.

Once we got Doug and Maddie situated, it was time to get in line for Everest!

Cool animal pics. The tigers are ALWAYS sleeping whenever we see see them.

Honestly, I am still watching those owls! The babies are almost grown though . Hopefully next week I can get an update done.

Yikes - It really doesn't feel like it's been 2 months since I updated - wow! Well, hopefully I have one or two readers left I appreciate the loyality!

When I last left off Tricia and I were about to explore Everest. We had 4 fastpasses and only two of us riding. As we were in line Tricia was reading the signs and saw the warning about part of the rollercoaster going backwards. She looks at me and says “it goes backwards?!” and I said “Did I forget to mention that??” Oops! She was still willing to try riding, after a very short wait we boarded our train. I believe we were the last car. I just loved the ascent to the top, what a view!!! I wish I had the guts to take my camera out – what pictures you could get! You can see the track in these photos:

We both loved the ride, but Tricia felt a little dizzy when she got off from the backwards portion. When we found Doug and Maddie again, they all told me to use up the other two fastpasses, none of them minded waiting. So I got to ride Everest three times in a row. It was awesome!!!

After Everest we headed back towards Africa and toured the Pangini Forest Trail to see the Gorillas.

After our time exploring the trail, we headed to our ADR for Tusker House, which was for 2:00pm. As I recall we were a bit early, so we waited outside for a few minutes. While waiting, we decided to head out of the park after our meal. We got called in and were seated. We all really enjoyed our food and the service was wonderful!

For those that haven’t been there , at lunch it’s a buffet with no characters. It was a nice laid back lunch, great way to get a little rest.

On our way out of the park we explored the Discovery Trails. I had never seen some of the animal carvings up that close before – they are just beautiful!!!

So our time at Animal Kingdom had come to an end. We made our way back to the bus stop to go back to Pop.

I noted that we had a good bus driver home, but since I have taken so long to write this report, I don’t remember what was so good. I’m guessing he was funny and informative. I do remember that he was the only driver that talked the whole week.

When we got back to Pop, we let Maddie rest and we watched TV until about 5:30. Then Tricia and I decided to go do some shopping at Downtown Disney. We had a really nice time, bought some things and each had a rum runner:

We headed back to Pop about 8:30, meanwhile Doug and Maddie spent 2 hours swimming at the pool. When we got back to Pop at 9:00, Doug and Maddie were in Everything Pop having dinner. Tricia and I joined them. We got back to the room about 10:15 and headed right to bed.

I'm glad to see you back!!!!!!! Nice update! I always wanted to try a drink from the POP bar but I never got around to it Now the one at WL..that's another story haha. I've never been to TH but that food looked good!
