I just had to post, because I like to give credit when credit is due. Too often, people only speak up when negatives happen.
I was speaking with our guide today, as we are buying a small add-on. We took the tour in 2006 and bought in 2007. From then until now she has been extremely helpful, NEVER pressured us then or now and is as sweet and polite as they come. She called us a year ago to check in on us and see how we were enjoying our DVC, but still never pressured us. She is quick to return phone calls, and is super patient with any and all questions.
We chatted for a good 20 minutes or so about Disney, I updated her on our lives, and had a great conversation!
I've just read so many threads here about people having bad guides or pushy guides, etc. I just wanted to say that some of them are GREAT and are not just "Timeshare Salesmen."
I also gave her some feedback about the new restrictions on resale purchases, because even though all of our points are direct, I'm concerned where this might go in the long run with possible further restrictions or other tiered ownership programs. She was very interested to hear what I had to say and expressed interest in general as to what the membership at large will have to say about it.
So, just a big thumbs up to (guide) - our awesome DVC guide!!
