Self-planner
Day 1
You must know as a member of the DIS family I am naturally a planner.
So after 6 months or more of planning all my plans are finally coming to fruit.
Friday morning we awake at 5 to be at the airport by 6:00 to make our flight. This is I'm not afraid's first flight so I am a little nervous not knowing how he will react, because he is afraid of his own shadow.
All is going well, he seems to like the idea of flying so thats a good thing.
We are sitting at the gate waiting to board and I look up from the morning paper and there is I'm not afraid taking to what looks like the captain.
The next thing I know he has postcards and wings and a invitation to board the plane first and take a tour of the cockpit. He is a friendly little thing. (note to self remind son always not good to talk to strangers.) anyhoo,
We get to board first and I took pictures of DS sitting in the captains seat holding the controls. priceless I tell you. Well, Slurpie is happy she gets to pick out a window seat for herself and of corse is to grown to sit with mom and dad. The flight was uneventful other than slurpie kept leaning over some poor woman going to WDW alone, to talk to me. I finally told sluprie to stop and she sat back and listened to her head phones. Arriving at MCO was great I knew I was minutes away from WDW. Our luggage was the first off the plane.
I was getting the feeling this was going to be a good trip. We went to the shuttle to get the rental car and was the only one on the bus Yes it was going to be a good trip. We arrive at POP and our room was ready it was 1456 in the 50's parking lot side. Quite I tell you. We swam, napped then got ready for dinner at 1900 park fare. It was nice, but we had two little girls next to us at the table who were beyond tired and very rowdy. One of the best buffets at disney in my opinion. We caught the bus from GF to DTD and shopped for awhile then back to the room for a good nights rest and off to MGM and Typhoon lagoon tomorrow.

:flower: Sounds like your having a good time already. We did 1900 Park Fare the night we got in, too. Great minds think alike!!! :cool1: We were very pleased with the buffet. We planned to do downtown disney but our little ones 10,6,3 wanted to ride monorail. We didn't want to be out too late as MGM was our next day! Keep having a great time!!
