Our great big beautiful journey!!! With Pictures!! UPDATED 2/25/07 with VIDEO!!

Next we headed to the Living Land Boat ride. This was the first time I had been on it, and to my surprise I really enjoyed it. DH was amazed that most of the food we ate in the Garden Grill was actually grown right there.

I grew up surrounded by corn feilds so it was particularly interesting to see how they were genectically altering the fruits and vegetables to make them larger.

I would have liked to go on the behind the seeds tour, but with DS being young we'd have to pass this trip.

We started to head in the direction of Test Track. We saw a sign for Epcot Character Connection so we decided to check it out. We asked the CM if there was a line...NOPE!!!

We find pluto again....DS love pluto.

Then we saw Minnie and DS gives her a Kiss...

We skipped over Chip & Dale and went to Goofy. Some people were holding up the Chip & Dale line trying to get pictures taken with them together...so we just skipped it.

We saw goofy, but DS wouldn't pose...

We exited and made our way over to Club Cool. This was a must-stop for DH cause he remembered me taking him here on our last trip.

He ran around testing sodas. I grabbed some watermelon and I was satisfied. I let DS have a couple sips and he was hooked on it.

Up next: Test Track!

We made it to Test Track, it was a MUST for DH. I let him go first. We both used the single rider line. I love the single rider line. We always used it, even before DS...its sooo much faster...and alot of time you get to sit in the same car as each other.

While DH rode I got FP for Mission Space.

DH checked out the cars in the exit area for Test Track and I went to ride it for myself. As I was getting into the car my cell phone rang...it my was brother. I told him I'd call him when I got off, so I did. He explained to me that they were on the dining plan and still had 4 TS credits left. They got a flight out first thing in the morning and wouldn't be able to use them. They suggested we make a reservation somewhere and try to use them. We said we'd think about it and we'd call them when we left Epcot and we'd meet them somewhere.

Our FP times were up but we both decided that since we had a big lunch at Garden Grill that we didn't want to get sick on Mission Space...and we were too "cool" to use the non-motion version. So we skipped it.

We headed to the world showcase. DS was fussing so I stopped in Mexico and got him a Churro and some juice. I can't remember what it was called but it had pineapple it in and it was good.

DH had never been on Malstrom so I let him ride that and DS and I wondered through some gift shops. He didn't really care for the ride...oh well...:confused3

We continued on our way. We both would have liked to explore some more of the countries, but at the moment DS wasn't letting us....so we kept moving on.

To be continued.....

pooh: Ohhh I want more :dance3: I love this !!!!

I don't know how you remembered your camera at those moments, I am always forgetting I have mine LOL

I'll try to get some more up tonight. I've been getting kinda busy with the lil one.

As for the pictures, our camera has a wrist band so we hung it around our wrists and took pictures whenever we wanted to savor a moment...we have over 800 moments savored...ha ha.

Well...don't tell anyone...but I think I may have converted my husband! He is starting to enjoy Disney! I do think it helped seeing the joy on his son's face and getting to share those moments with him....something he didn't get to do as a child.

Yahooty!!!! I love hearing stuff like this :)

I just finished reading everything you've written so far and can't believe how much you managed to churn out so quickly! (and with a wee one at home) :thumbsup2

That's quite a group of people - 19 at Hoop-Dee-Doo just blew me away :scared1:

Must have been fun sharing the memories with so many.

Subscribing and waiting for your next installment.

One night I was up pretty late reading the disboards and I discovered a thread about picking a pearl in Japan. After reading it I knew that I wanted to do it also. I wanted to have a peice of jewelrey that I could cherish and something that wasn't screaming disney world all over it, I have plenty of stuff like that.

So I was getting really excited when we got to Japan...we headed straight to the shop.

I orginally wanted my son to pick the oyster out....but of course he fell asleep.

So, I had my DH do it.

I had it set in a pendant, I bought a chain later since they were kinda pricey there. Here is a picture of it.

We continued around the world snapping pics here and there.

DH found this picture funny..she is standing in front of a payphone on her cell phone.

Remember me telling you how I lost my hat on Primeval Whirl yesturday? Well, we decided to stop in a gift shop and ask a CM for central lost and found's telephone number. She was nice enough to call for us and surprisingly they had my hat! Whoo Hoo!! We were pretty much done in Epcot anyways so we were gonna head towards the exit and make our way to the lost and found.

If you've never been to Central Lost and Found its in the same building as the Kennel at the Ticket and Transportation Center.

DH decided we probably needed a snack since it would be awhile before we got back to POP so we stopped at the Electric Umbrella to get some chicken fingers.

I remembered that a CM told me to stop by guest services and pick up a 1st visit button for DS so we asked for one on the way out.

DH snapped this nice picture of spaceship earth. I told him it could be a postcard then he instantly thought he was the greatest photographer ever!

On to the monorail...destination Ticket and Transportation Center.

We were gonna ask to ride in the front but there was already a family up there and DS was still sleeping anyways. He is such a good napper.

We exited the monorail.....

Then retrieved my hat.:cool1:

We decided to take the Ferry over to the MK to catch a bus back to POP.

DS enjoyed the Ferry as did I. It was very peaceful...and practically empty.

DH and I noticed that alot of people apparently love to throw their money away to Disney....as if we haven't already gave enough to them....:confused3

We boarded the bus to POP. We were the only ones at the Bus stop and had to wait for some more passengers before we could leave. We apparently got a bus driver that insisted there was no drinking on the bus:confused3 We didn't hear that all week until him.

We went to the food court at POP and got some food. I think DH and I both had the Philly Cheesesteak wrap. YUMMY! DS had chicken nuggets.

Did I mention WE LOVE THE BLUE SLUSHIES???? I swear that is all we drank all week.

At the beginning of the week I had purchased DH a $25 arcade card and he was itching to use it...so we headed to the arcade to burn some time.

Amazingly the arcade was pretty empty which was very cool!:cool1:

My brother called and wanted us to meet up with him at his resort since he didn't have a car....so we headed to the Carribbean Beach Resort. We hung out in the Arcade and gift shop until we saw them. We talked for a bit then we went back to POP.

We wanted to go to bed early because tommorow we are leaving disney property and going to a flea market in Webster. We have to get up at 4:30 am!!! More on this on the next installment. Yeah..I know...we're crazy!!!!:rotfl2:

see I love this thread soo much now I learned a new thing, I am so going to japan the pearl is beautiful!!!

We got our wakeup call for 4 am. The plan was to be on the road by 4:30. We almost did it, I believe we pulled out of the POP parking lot about 4:45. See, today was flea market day. Some of you are going to think I'm completely nuts, but there is a story behind it.

As a child my parents took us to Florida every February. There was a convention in Tampa for their business every year and they always took us out of school so we could make a family vacation out of it. My parents always took us to a flea market in Webster then we would continue on to Disney World.

Fast forward to 2005. I spent two weeks in Florida with my parents when I was pregnant with DS. We attended the Webster flea market again, I came home with some great deals and DH was jealous because it sounded like so much fun...so I promised that next time we go to Florida I'd make sure he'd get to go.

Originally when we had began planning our January 2007 trip we were going to take Magical Express and not rent a car. DH reminded me of my promise so I found a decent rate on a rental car and told him we'd go, but we wasn't going to check out of POP....therefore we'd have to leave at 4:30 am to be there for opening time.

Webster, FL is about a hour away from Disney...if you'd like anymore information about it you can PM me and I'd be happy to share. However, since this is a Disney Board I will continue with my disney vacation.

We returned to POP about 3pm that afternoon. We wanted to lay down and rest soooo bad, but mousekeeping was in our room and we didn't want to bother her......so we let DS show us around POP. Here is a photo tour:

Beautiful pendant!!

I also picked pearls on my last trip- I got twins. :woohoo:

Loving your report!!

I'm jealous, I was hoping for twins!

I lucked out, I got extra disney magic because it was birthday gift!! :goodvibes

I love your pictures from Pop. I stayer there in 2004 and they bring back great memories. :thumbsup2

After our blue shushies that we LOVE we headed back to the room to relax! We were tired...all we have done is walk walk walk walk walk. I was so sick of walking!!

DH laid on the bed and took a cat nap while watching Stacy, he really liked Stacy...I found her annoying. Did anyone else notice that she kept refering to her bathing suit coming off?

DS ran around the hotel room playing with Mickey, Pluto and all the diecast cars that we have bribed him with on the airplane from the movie Cars.

I used the time to get online and check email and relax a bit also.

We decided to go out for dinner...we went to Shutters. Why you may ask? Because we were tired, we didn't want to have to travel too far. We hopped in our rental car and drove to Carribbean Beach, got a great parking place and was able to walk right in and sat down. AHHHH heaven. DH and I both had Prime Rib (Awesome!) and DS had mac n cheese.

After dinner we headed back to the room. DH wanted to try to go swimming again so we all got our suits on and headed out. First we stopped at Goofy's Jets.

DS was checking out the water.

I'm sure no one reads the rules, but being a DISer I had to take a pic.

We headed over to the pool, we all got in....and then we decided that it was alot cooler then the other night and the wind was starting to pick up.......so we all got out and headed back to the room.

While DH and DS got into bed I sat on the floor trying to get all the suitcases packed back up. LUCKILY since my parents has a travel trailer and was driving home we gave them all our dirty clothes...ha ha. That way we had room for all our souveniers.

This was our last night at Disney, I was sad. Tommorow we had 10:30 reservations at Chef Mickeys!!
